LVP's now lifted and normal operations remaining. There was quite a hold developing, and a very long departure line.

They're becoming fairly frequent it would seem, I first saw a pair of them about 6 months ago west of Mauritania and the another pair back in Feb east of the British Virgin Islands, all four were inexcess of FL 60.

Wonder what's the story with it. It's listed on cork airports website as a 2200 departure to Cardiff, didn't think there was a scheduled flight to there at this hour?

Does it position down from DUB every week for this flight?

Nope, there's usually a separate DUB-CWL flight too, this looks like a diversion.

EI7MN reporting laser attack from the Tesco car park in Maynooth. Tower alerting local Gardai. There is also a sick child on the flight requiring an ambulance on arrival.

I genuinely hope they get idiots who did this.

    What's that about?

    What's that about?

Most likely training new pilots. Each new pilot required to do 6 take offs and landings in the type of aircraft they'll be flying before being allowed to start working.

    A5263 /HOP63ZZ Sqwaking 7700 over central/southern France.

Flight from Paris to Castre, very low at minute and appears to be potentially diverting to Marcillac Airport? (perhaps).

    Sharp thunderstorms in region.

Seems to be heading to DCM, her intended destination, probably got a smack of lightening

If it was lightening, would there be a need to use 7700? Up to the skipper I suppose.

EI822 returning to stand at ORK to have a disruptive passenger removed from the plane. They had lined up on 17 for departure but requested to return to stand.

Disruptive pax on an EI plane??? Surely you made a mistake and you meant FR, EI wouldn't carry that sort of clientele surely!!

A quick and wise decision by the crew, that would have saved a fortune in fuel if they had taken off and had to return or divert.
