Does anybody here use three's 4G with their OPO?
My download speeds are 1.5Mbps and upload is a massive 13.8Mbps. Why is there a significant difference in upload and download? I would not be complaining is the speeds were the other way around.

Try turning the sim the other way round.

Seriously though, I'm with 3 and have no problems with 4G.

The OPO does not support 800mhz (band 20) which is mostly used for rural 4g.

Damn it I am in a rural location and phone says LTE with full bars and as I said previously I am getting amazing upload speeds but terrible download.

If your getting lte then its not the phone rather your **** network.

Good signal does not mean good speeds. If you have a good signal then signal is not the issue but the network itself, overloaded or lack of backhaul

There are 2 bands used for 4g, 800mhz band 20 and 1800mhz band 3. The OPO only supports 1800mhz band 3

They'll probably deliver a build on Friday labelled Marshmallow, but it'll actually be JellyBean :D

Seriously, go custom if you want the latest software.
Been on MM for almost 3 months now, no problems :)

They seem to have Marshmallow out last minute on the OP2 - as expected they will miss the OPO deadline. Is anybody surprised?

Anyone have any bother with these charging really slowly? The Mrs' one has just started today showing a '4hrs until fully charged' message and only picking up 25% or so in an hour. Tried 3 different chargers but all are the same.

Phone is on 5.1.1 (12.1.1 Cyanogen version).

Are all the chargers 2 amps?

Also rebooted and tried in Airplane mode but still very slow.

That's a good reading, remember the screen is on and there are apps running in the background. My best lead and charger combination gives about the same

That's seems about right really, though might the battery itself be getting a little past it? Ya can't beat a good USB cable too. The OEM cable that came with the phone is decent. Are you using that?

Hasn't been used in ages, I think it got a bit dodgy. But it had been charging fine with the cable from my tablet or some Anker ones from Amazon for ages until yesterday.

I use these ones, great quality, great charging speeds with them.

Anyone on Three have issues with the network jumping from 4g/3g '3IRL' network to this other '3' network which tells me I'm roaming and kills all my data?

I've been having this issue for at least 6 months now, happens about 5/6 times a day to the point where I have to check my phone pretty often and manually force it to the '3IRL' network to get data back up again.

I've been in touch with Three and checked all settings are as they should be so they are suggesting it might be the handset.
I don't have a spare phone to put my sim in and check so wondering if anyone else has had the same?

    Cheers.

They're lying. This is as known issue and isn't the handset. You are going to Vodafone for 2g and not returning. Three don't have their own 2g network and have a roaming deal with Vodafone. This fix is to manually turn on airplane mode and off again

Aha! Thanks for that... I figured it didn't make sense that the handset could be causing it. It's an absolute pain...

At least flicking airplane mode on/off is a lot quicker than going into my network settings. Cheers!
