    Deport them where?

Where ever they came from. Dump them from a plane with a parachute if necessary but more likely would be to blockade any country refusing to take bake their own terrorists and criminals!

    To their ancestral homes

If they're willing to fight and die for them, they're wiling to live there

How will deporting our own nationals work? Will this have any impact on the Good Friday Agreement?

If you have any information on who the terrorists are, you should go to the Gardai instead of posting on an internet forum.

    Here's something recent

Northern Irish Islamic convert who 'fled to Syria to join her Jihadi husband' claims she now hates him after finding out he joined a Muslim dating site before he went

Sorry Lorna, you can **** off to syria forever

The Netherlands was probably the first country in the EU that this fooker registered for asylum so turkey sent him back there as any other EU country would have refused to take him apart from Germany. He probably got a bus or train between the two countries or may even have drove to Belgium as is the useless state of their security.

We in Ireland must stop any of these terrorists and "New" Europeans from ever getting in to Ireland without the most stringent of checks and balances and proper vetting, those who rocked up to Europe without papers or other proofs of identity must be kept out!

So it appears the third bomber heard the first bomb go off and only then decided it was a bad idea so he dropped the vest and ran away

Sucide bombing is such a cowardly thing to do. Evil as well obviously. Like, think about the mindset. You don't care who's there (even children) You don't care that these people have done nothing to you (they are innoncent) all you care about is getting as much people around you as possible for when you go boom. You don't give anyone a chance but some how you are a "fighter"

Yes he seems to have come through the Netherlands before Belgium. That kind of puts to rest the theory that he is a native Belgian

    Translation of this page

    http://www.volkskrant.nl/buitenland/belgische-minister-justitie-el-bakraoui-van-turkije-naar-nederland-gestuurd~a4268841/

Ibrahim El Bakraoui, one of the terrorist suspects who blew Zaventem airport on Tuesday, was arrested in 2015 in Turkey and at his own request 'relegated' to the Netherlands. This said Koen Geens, the Belgian Minister of Justice, on the VRT news . He thereby confirmed statements that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan did before.

Can you choose now where to be deported to ?

Keeping out the bad guys is obviously the right thing to do. With the correct screening we should still be able to take tens of thousands of refugees.

Im about 10 pages behind but came across a post saying there is no law preventing people from wearing a burka, yet if i ride a motor bike and goto pay for petrol i have to remove my helmet and balaklava, but some one in a burka can walk in at the same time unchallenged.

Why cant i go shopping in my balaklava?

As long as people dont make efforts to integrate into the society the move to you will get ghettos develop and everythings that comes with that.

Oh and on security forces in belgium having failed by allowing these almost 'no go' areas to develop ... Isnt there a few estates like that in limerick for example?

Last I checked we didn't border any war torn countries. We should take exactly 0 refugees. Help them in place yes but willingly take them in? No.

So the Belgian lad born in Belgium who sets off a bomb in Belgium should get deported to Belgium?

Odd thing to do then isn't it!

Erdogan says Turkey warned Belgian authorities of Bakraoui's terrorist ties when it deported him into the custody of the Netherlands — but that the Belgian native was released anyway.
    ...

Bakraoui was sent to the Netherlands, at his request, NPR's Peter Kenyon reports, but Belgian authorities were notified about his detention and potential threat.

Despite Turkey's warnings, Erdogan says, Belgium couldn't find any ties to terrorism — so the Netherlands released Bakraoui.

At a rate of no more than 500 per year with no family reunification unless it is the refugee leaving and going back to his family.

Where the Belgians would execute him if they had any balls.

Does being born in Belgium bestow nationality? In a lot of countries it does not. It's more about where your parents are from.

For the same reason I don't allow homeless people to live in my house.

That makes no sense whatsoever. Why do you believe we should take in no refugees?

Birth in Belgium to a Belgian citizen.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,671 ✭✭✭dav3

For the same reason I don't allow homeless people to live in my house.

That's not really a good enough reason not to take refugees.

Are there any points you could put across that might make people think 'yeah fair enough, good point'?
