I'm still amused by the fact WWE think wrestling fans would rather watch comedy shows with wrestlers rather than the actual wrestling. For every ten shows they attempt it seems like one will be sorta okay but the other nine will be dreadful. Stick to the wrestling content. It's not like they don't have a vast, vast library.

A lot of original Network shows have been hit and miss. Top 5 shows that I enjoyed watching:

    1. Table for 3
    2. Breaking Ground
    3. Countdown/WWE List
    4. Unfiltered with Renee Young
    5. Rivalries/WM Rewind

Not counting shows that are still on going like Stone Cold Podcast and Legends with JBL.

Enjoying watching WCCW from 1986. It stands up pretty well. Just wish they'd sort out the Memphis tapes someday.

Probably too many complaints. Hopefully it comes back, and working this time.

They never fixed the ongoing issues with the PS4 app. Works fine on my Samsung blu ray but would rather get my money's worth with my TV

After Mania I'm going to cancel the network and treat it like the old PPV way. If they improve the product any given month and set up a PPV I'd like to see, I'll resubscribe to watch it.

The Vault and new shows are always going to be there on demand if I do ever resubscribe because I'll have a month to watch.

I know it will make no change one person canceling but I just hate giving them any money at the moment for such a **** product.

I'm leaning towards doing the same. Main reason I'm keeping it going at the minute is I love being able to stick on an old PPV conveniently, and for NXT which is still consistently a great show.

NXT and the monthly pay per views are worth the price of admission alone for me. Having said that, I'm a Vince apologist, as I'm sure many here can attest to. I think it's amazing value.

I find it better value for money than Irish version of Netflix. I can always find something to watch on Network where as Netflix backlog is limited and not worth paying for each month.

I use Netflix as well, so between the two I'm never short of something to watch. The thing with Netflix is catching things before they get taken off. I just saw today 24 is gone on the 4th.

Netflix has gone to the dogs since the clampdown.

Don't blame people cancelling the Network. Two years after launch and the patchy back catalogue is a disgrace not to mention the piss poor layout of the various apps and the search function. People can say that the weekly NXT show is worth it all they like but I'm not convinced. That said I still occasionally subscribe and if I'm arsed I'll get meself a free month now and then.

It all depends on what you expect, though. As a child I used to save so hard for VHS tapes of different pay per views, and would be devastated if the one I had planned for was gone already.
I still think all of these services are just amazing value. We're really living in the future lads.

I'll be cancelling after mania, i have not watched it in over 2 weeks, as i just dont think its worth the money, i enjoy the JBL show, and other shows like silicon valley, but thats about it, i have the ppv's from the past i liked on vhs or dvd, and remember most of them so dont feel the need to sit through them again, same with the specials about Austin, Rock, Savage etc.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

If you are interested in old wrestling then the Network is worth it. If you don't watch old stuff then I can see why you'd be looking to cancel. I just wish they uploaded the old stuff in some sort of order rather than a random batch of shows from Smoky Mountain, then a few from Global, then a couple from Mid South. Wouldn't be as bad if they uploaded the shows in chronological order rather than three from one year, two from the next, then six from the next before moving to a different set altogether.

Have been tempted to get NWA Classics but they do the same with the random upload schedule.

I like having the network there its always handy if you have an hour to kill. Then for me however bad the product is i generally watch the ppvs and now NXt has been so good i watch that weekly.

Then the odd specials with JBL are generally very good. I dont seem to be getting the same problems as a few people on here with ps4 app mine has worked good for the last 2 months.

Since moving into my new place I started using a HDMI cable with my laptop because I found the PlayStation 3 application to be just too unreliable. Fastlane was a nightmare to watch on it live. I use the Network on the go a lot as well, if I'm waiting around I'll often watch a match or two from an old pay per view. I'm watching Starrcade 1988 at the moment.

    Congrats on the new place!

I've found the PS3 to be very inferior compared to the PS4 version.

Isn't it high time that we got Chromecast support though? - Christ, they gave out free Chromecasts at the Network announcement press conference over 2 years ago!

Just having constant access to archive is worth $10 to me, never mind the 2016 stuff! *Goes off to watch Clash of the Champions 27*

I share an account with a friend of mine, so we split the cost, but I don't think I'd stay subscribed if I had to pay for the full thing myself. For the amount of things I watch - about 8-9 hours a month - I don't think it's worth it.

My friend, however, loves working his way through the archive stuff, so I can definitely see the value in it if you're in to that kind of thing.

Just finished watching the main event at wrestlemania 17. My god it's a beautiful roller coaster of emotions. Austin was just on point and the rock played the baby face champion perfect. 'm delighted they kept the LB my way during the promo video btw. Austin and Vince working together was something I didn't understand even at 16 year old.

JR's commentary at the end was superb. I mean just so good.

I still rank it as the best PPV of all time.

It annoys me Network doesn't reward loyalty, subscribed for over 2 years never even a free month. Sick of that being offered to new subscribers and not the folks that actually support it longterm.

Every second month seems to be free now. If you were willing to go through the hassle of new e-mails etc. every time, you could get it free for probably most of the year.

Making Wrestlemania free this year was a terrible idea as people will expect it to be free in future now. People who only watch Wrestlemania can now get a free month and then cancel until next year without spending a cent. Sounds good on the investor calls to say x amount of people signed up for Wrestlemania but they make no direct money from it, which is what the investors are more interested in.

I remember they gave some discount codes for WWE shopzone or something. I never use that, so they were as good as useless.

I'm a day 1 subscriber, never broke my Subs to them. I agree - a little bit of recognition for the loyalty would be nice. A free piece of merch, or even a special show for loyal subscriber access only.

The WWE app has been updated on the iPad. Very nice. Made it much easier to navigate. Also it seems that from now on you'll have alternative audio feeds for ppvs. Nice idea.
