I heard earlier this morning that the original plan was for The Big Show vs. Hulk Hogan instead of Bobby Lashley vs. Umaga, and Hulk Hogan was going to recreate his slam of André.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,391 ✭✭✭ShagNastii

I remember them pushing Kane/Khali as a throwback to Hulk/Andre. FFS you have to remember just how little people cared about Kane and Khali was this stage.

If I'm going honest I'd have marked hard a throwback being played out by Hogan and Big Show. Would have been a cool moment.

Hogan's knees would have exploded if he attempted that. Not to mention his hips and back. Whoever changed that plan did the right thing.

Brock Lesnar Vs Bray Wyatt has been added to WWE Roadblock

On a note about PPVs , I use android app to watch the PPVs or events whatever you want to call them.

What's annoying me is WWE spoiling the results on the main page of app while you are clicking in to view the network

On the first page is news and shows a pic of the Previous night event. I don't get to watch the events until Monday. TLC was ruined by a picture of sheamus and HHH on the news feed.

Does anyone else have this problem or know of a work around

My workaround for royal rumble was to download it (which I didn't want to do I pay for the network)

Is this a piece of **** for anyone else on ps3?

I had a good idea to get my old ps3 and set it up in my bedroom to have the network in my room.

7/10 if I click into an old nitro/raw the screen gets stuck on the loading circle so have to reset the whole console.

If I watch the live stream I get an error message every 10 - 15 mins and have to quit out of the app and go back into it.

Never had problems on XB1 or Apple TV except for maybe once every few months.

I did try the network on a Samsung Galaxy tablet. It's okay but still no way as good as the iPad.

The iPad has been a complete dream since I've had the network. The only thing was when I used us unblock I had to change my address sometimes but other than that it's been glorious.

It would be more of an interesting match if we didn't know that Bray would be essentially getting fed to Brock. Not only will Brock be going over Bray, but probably the whole Wyatt family, especially Braun Strowman.

Hopefully. The Wyatt family are insufferable at the moment.

Just finished the main event of wrestlemania 23. Hbk really is mr wrestlemania and cena did a brilliant job of selling the leg injury and nice hardway bleeding from both guys.

So overall mania 23 was a damn good event overall with the Kane and khali and divas matches being the worst but they didn't hurt the rest which was solid to very good.

WrestleMania XXIII was one of the ones I enjoyed most in the last decade. The Undertaker vs. Batista is still very dramatic viewing, even knowing the result of the match. I don't think John Cena gets enough credit for bringing it as much as he did in that match either. The Battle Of The Billionaires was unnecessary though, a waste of the championship.

same. Always crashes/stalls on the loading wheel on PS3. Still no Chromecast support either

So, word of warning, the Edge and Christian show has a sharp incline in quality in episode 4 and 5. The first three were really, really shakey, but 4 was good fun (they did a brackets of "Worst gimmick ever!", and some fun stuff with Cody/Stardust) and episode 5 was really funny.

Episode 5 was full of smarky digs at various people, with segments like "Will WWE talk about that?" starring AJ Styles, "s*** WWE fans say!", "Top 5 times Male Wrestlers got naked", a really funny dig at Emma and even Lana gets in on the fun too.

I tried to watch the first episode of it the night it started, directly after Fastlane. I fell asleep almost as soon as it began so haven't managed to get back around to watching it yet. I'm still watching old stuff whenever I go near the Network though. I was watching Season's Beatings from 1988 earlier on today with the Midnight Express vs. Flair & Windham.

Is there any word of a Chromecast app?

Think it's been fairly **** through out the whole series so far tbh.

You mentioned Emma, so I had to watch episode 5.
    Couple questions:
    Why did Christian retire?
DO we think Roman can wrestle now? Must have missed that memo.

Indirectly mentioning TNA and Styles not exactly trying to stand up for it.

As today is 316 day I watched the austin bret hart match from WM13 and my god it really is beautiful as a match. I watched the go home raw for WM13 and oh brets rant is uncensored and the it really showed what a go home raw should be. That blue cage was putting in a fierce shift with taker, sid, austin and bret all on it.

It's still not my favourite WM match that goes to ric flair vs macho man at WM8.

SPLOOSH! I never thought I'd be able to hear that rant uncensored. It's so intense. I miss RAW being so passionate. These days it feels so smarky/sarcastic/too cool for school.

Does anyone have any buffering problems with the network? can't watch anything on it without it stalling at some stage the live feed seems to be more reliable and freer but it's not worth it if you can't watch it flawlessly

The cage match while not a classic, the match and the aftermath basically sell the importance of the two matches the four guys are in. I mean I had watched the ppv before I watched raw as they mention brets comments the previous week.

It has it's ups and downs. It's been fine for me tonight, I just watched back Daniel Bryan's retirement speech on Raw and the live episode of NXT, perfect quality throughout both

Not sure incline is correct word.

    Do you mean decline?

  • Site Banned Posts: 1,763 ✭✭✭Pugzilla

All those Network shows like Roadtrip and Edge & Christian are cringey as f*ck.

  • Site Banned Posts: 1,763 ✭✭✭Pugzilla

    It totally reeks of sh*te.

I just watched the Edge and Christian show earlier. It was better than I thought it would be to be honest, I got a couple of laughs out of it. The bit with AJ Styles was amusing.
