I've had an itch to play Red Dead Redemption lately.
I can't get it out of my head.
I sold my PS3 many years ago. I'd lovely if they released it on PC, although I know that's very unlikely.

I'm seriously considering picking up an old PS3 just to play it again!

I should probably boot up Skyrim again to scratch that open world RPG itch.
But it just doesn't have the same charm as the Wild West.

There's a chance they'll re-release it, they did with the GTA remaster recently so it might get a PC port at that stage.

Finished up Call of Juarez: Gunslinger there, what an utterly fantastic game. :D

Also played a bit of Sunless Sea, think I'm getting to grips with it a bit now.

I couldn't wait that long. I'm so impatient when I get a certain game stuck in my head. I picked up a PS3 and copy of Red Dead Redemption for €60 on adverts.

Can't wait to get home to play it!!

I started playing Call of Juarez Gunslinger a few days ago. Enjoying it so far. Itd be nice to see more Call of Juarez/Red Dead Redemption type games on PC. Or better yet to see Red Dead Redemption on PC.

Yup, I'd snap Red Dead Redemption up in a heartbeat. Seems like it'll never get a port though, no matter how many PC gamers have been crying out for it.

Really enjoying Mad Max, though i've started getting from freezes/crashes at random times. Need to kill the process and restart. First time in ages that a game has given me any trouble.

Playing and thoroughly enjoying Balrum. Isometric RPG with turn-based combat and lots of crafting (farming/cooking/smelting/building/alchemy/blacksmithing - you name it), tame animals to fight with you, large world, dungeons & puzzles. The whole package really. Another one I backed on Kickstarter and really glad I did. Very impressive for a two person team and only 15 quid on steam I believe. A bargain.

Heavily back into Cities: Skylines for the last week or so.

There's something ridiculously moreish about the whole game, though I do tend to start suffering debt issues at a population of 25k+ and people freak out if I raise taxes even a tad.

Path Of Exile: Ascendancy (ie. their fourth expansion), got a bit under my belt but had to sleep after poor routine during the working week. Wake up, try to log in and... Maintenance... Oh well, that'll likely cure a lot of the supposed login/disconnect issued it had due to being the biggest launch they've had thus far.

    Is that still f2p?

Wasteland 2 is reminding me a bit of Hard West, which is no bad thing at all :)

XCOM2 and the sdk, jaysis christ.. look at the time, it's been an entire month already! :D

tbh i'm getting a bit bored with it now at the 227 hours played mark, cant wait for the DLC/Expansions :) But i have officially given up making mass effect voicepack mods, i cba doing the last few boring characters that nobody really cares about, like Jacob, Ashley the space racist and kaiden the dull moany sap, oh and javik, Mass Effect's answer to Jar-Jar Binks :P even though he does say some really awesome stuff, i just cba

So, a month or so til Total War:Warhammer :) This year is awesome for AAA strategy games :)

You know, I played about 2 hours of Far Cry 3 and was bored to tears, never went back to it. Kinda meant to at some stage, and I still have it installed, but I just didn't find any urge to revisit it.

Played through Brothers - A tale of two sons yesterday as I was looking for something short and fun to play when I'm sick, really enjoyed it I think the pal through was only 3-4 hours. I had been playing fallout 4 a bit as well but its not really grabbing me yet about 18 hours in. I go back to Xcom enemy unknown and do a mission here and there too haven't finished it yet. And rocket league EVERY DAY!

Being a mega nerd on Warcraft III. Got top 500 on BNet and now I'm working to getting ranked on W3Arena.

You just reminded me that I have this game (Warcraft 3). Downloading commenced - to give me a break from Civ IV

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,812 ✭✭✭IRL_Sinister

Let's play some AT when you're online :) Think I've set up my ports.

EDIT: Going to go gym, be back in over an hour or so. If you want, just PM me. I'll be in Clan Kow3 (on BNet) you'll recognise the name.

You pretty much sound like me! Rocket League is all consuming! It's the only game that's been grabbing my attention for a good few months. A good number of games that I was looking forward to, namely Batman and JC3, have been plagued with issues that made them close to unplayable, so I'm waiting for patches. I've started The Witcher 3, and I'm about 4 hours in, I suppose, and I'm enjoying it. I'm not very good at it so far, but I'm hoping to get a good run where I can get a few hours playing it. At the moment, I only get an hour at a time, if even, and Rocket League is just so easy to get into and drop within that period.

It's a fantastic game (and an excellent series overall). Shame about how bad it ran at launch.

I rarely ever buy games at launch so I never experience those problems.

It's such an improvement on origins. I couldn't get into that at all. Pretty much abandoned it. AK starts out perfect and just maintains it with excellent storytelling. It does kind of throw you in at the deep end and it takes a while to get into the swing of things but, so good.
