Well I've gone and ordered it, now to sell my iPhone 6s.

I am in the same boat. Have a 6S Plus and nothing wrong with it per se. very reliable, decent battery, and very fast. But kinda bored with iOS. I just wish they had a 64gb model like on the s6 edge plus.

Have noticed Clove are selling the s7 edge sim free for £630 with free case and speaker
    https://www.clove.co.uk/samsung-galaxy-s7-edge

Anyone using these guys or is everyone ordering from the Samsung store for the free vr headset ?

I'm happy that the brought back the SD card which will make a difference. Like yourself I've nothing against the iPhone hardware but iOS has not been the same sine iOS 7 to many bugs for my liken.

Although I have a mac, ipad etc.. and find the ios / os-x integration good with features like handoff, imessage etc..0, the iOS file system is inconvenient and drives me mad sometimes. Even simple things like downloading a ring tone is annoying having to go through itunes, dropbox or some other service. For this reason I am considering the move back to Android.

    Thinking of ordering from Clove.

It's a similar deal from unlocked mobiles although a tad more expensive. I havn't used Clove recently but bought a phone from them before (lg optimus I think) and they were fine.

Turns out the Samsung UK store is actually run by Expansys.

So orders can also be tracked here: http://www.expansys.com/order-tracking/

I *hate* Expansys - would have ordered elsewhere if I knew they were the ones running the store.

Anyone know if it's possible to change a Carphone Warehouse preorder from a S7 to a S7 Edge?

I tried calling their (Irish) customer service helpline but they couldn't help or bring up my order "because I'm in Ireland". I'd rather change my order than place a new one as the early order should be coming with a free Gear VR.

Did anyone get the email from three preorders stating it was out of stock? but in highlighted yellow writing it said to ignore if it's a preorder item..

I reckon I'll wait til they come into stock in Argos to pick my S7 Edge up. It'll be interesting to see what price they put on it. Shame we can't get the silver version here though.

My order is showing pre-order etc on the Samsung site and Shipped on the Expansys site. I emailed Samsung and they've replied saying I'll definitely have it on the 8th and that the order has been processed. Looks like they're shipping to Parcel Motel this time around.

Any update from meteor when the S7 will be available on pay as you go?

The metoer site still displays a link to enter your details and they say they will be in touch when the phone is available. I've done that (twice) and still no email from them :confused:https://store.meteor.ie/coming-soon/samsung-galaxy-s7

Every time I have registered for those alerts from any network, I've already bought the phone before the email is sent out.

If you use a 10% code you'll get it for €99 . I know it's still double what some of us paid on Vodafone.ie but it's upto you.

What they have said to me on twitter is that the phone won't be released for pre-order. You will only be able to grab it on Friday morning. Same story in the shops, won't let you pre-order there either.

I'd go with the S7 Edge for the bigger battery alone.

Nice. You bought from Samsung? I don't think there is any chance of me getting it early from unlocked mobiles.
