Hmm. I knew something wasn't right today. As soon as I woke up, I thought something's not right today.

    Found out what it was.

It's one of those days when I have to shout for Liverpool.

Lads. This forum is getting scarily like a Liverpool one. Living on past glories because we've no current ones to talk about!

The difference is were pining for the past or at least to get tougher braver players involved whereas Liverpool think their success only happened the other day. The years have merged into one for them

Every title winning team has a slippery spell at some stage and the league is so open this season that everyone has been dropping points. We shouldn't be too hard on ourselves. Win tonight and we're back in it big time.

Yes I'm worried cos we've looked crap recently but I think we can turn it around.

    COYG!!!!

    It's all about Sanchez.

If the real Sanchez shows up for a couple of months we can win the league.

He came back slow at the start of the year and was just hitting form before his injury. Hopefully this is just a similar 'get up to speed' process.

Fairly sure that's a fake Cazorla Twitter page. The reports that he's out for the rest of the season look like mere speculation as well.

I don't think Elneny would fit the Cazorla role at all. From what I saw when he came on in the United game, he didn't look like a player that would be able to transition defence into attack. He played the ball back to the defence the majority of the time. Ramsey hasn't been playing fantastic, but he's the only player who isn't injured who can and is willing to be the middle-man from Koscielny to Özil for example. Wilshere and Cazorla are far better at it than him however.

I assume Joel Campbell can't really play CM, or Iwobi (really clutching at straws!)? It would be nice to have players who can take a man on in the centre of the pitch.

    When men were men!........sigh :(

Manninger cleaning Keown out at the corner around 1.40 :D

Some of the intensity in our tackles was a joy to behold. Style with substance. No walking around without a prayer or plan.

Some change from the meek shyte we are playing now.

Brilliant Online Gooner article saying do you really agree with Spurs fans who want Wenger to stay as manager of Arsenal?

"Spurs Fans Do Not Want Wenger To Leave Arsenal"

"I will leave you with this: all of my Spurs-supporting mates have almost all said that the only downside of them potentially winning the title would be that Wenger would almost certainly have to leave.

Arsene Wenger’s biggest advocates can now be found at White Hart Lane, Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford.

All these fans know that the minute he leaves, Arsenal can become competitive again. So if you want Wenger to remain at Arsenal, congratulations, you have plenty in common with Spurs fans."

With a bit of luck spurs will win the league and we get the big shake up needed at arsenal that we've been waiting for for years.

I'll get blasted for wanting spurs to win so remind me again how you all live in north london and have any true reason for hating spurs

Dont live in London but still dont want any team other than Arsenal to win the league, regardless of whatever "shake up" it might bring.
Even though one hasn't happened yet, and its been 12 years

I don't think Spurs winning the league will have the slightest effect on Arsenal.
Sure, the fellas on twitter and the blogs will have a meltdown but that's it.

It wont push Arsene to buy better players, it won't push him to adapt his style of play and it certainly won't make the board do anything.

    So Spurs have started crowing.

Let me guess...revolution in North London?

    Hah.

    Ask me b*llix!

He's finished above Spurs every single season for nearly 20 years! Ha!

Hope he batters them on Sat. Back in your box.

So Mert and Gab in defence?
As strange as it sounds i actually prefer it to Gab/Kos. Whenever Gab/Kos play together it reminds me of when Vermaelen used to play. We had two pacy CB who liked to rush out and then make mistakes.

Hopefully having Mert in there will mean a more steady defence.

You realise clubs can't just cut players loose right? We didn't cut Diaby loose, his contract ran out. Christ some people don't actually live in the real world.

Christ Adam untwist your panties. My point was that the likes of Wilshere, Rosicky and Ox to name a few spend more time injured than playing. Diaby should never have got some of the contracts he did, nor Wilshere the way he's gone. There is always a way to leave players go, through compensation or selling them on. We managed to buy a player with a broken bone in his back, im sure we could sell Wilshere if needed

Cech, Bellerin, Gab, Mert, Monreal, Ramsey, Coq, Campbell, Ozil, Sanchez, Giroud

Welbeck on bench, Kosc not in squad

I wanna state for the record I'm still 100% behind Wenger, even if Sunday was b*llocks.

Let's get this sh*t done tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,796 ✭✭✭Marcus Antonius

The poll on the BBC have 41% thinking Spurs will be champions this season. GODS FORBID! Come on the Hammers. We need 3 points tonight most importantly. Be nice if Sanchez could get a goal to get some form back again as he's been poor for a good few games now. I dunno about Gab and Per as a duo at CB with that said Kos has been woeful also the last couple of games, when he's normally our best CB by a mile. I'm suprised Chambers wasn't given a go. With that said again most importantly 3 points tonight lads I don't care how, Coyg!

I think West Ham will be well up for this tonight, didnt realise they were just a point off Utd and 4 off City. A win for them tonight would be a huge result for them.
On saying that we must get our own house in order, id probably take any kind of a win but we badly need a response tonight and a commanding performance

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,752 ✭✭✭Mr Blobby

I could be wrong but i think West Ham haven't lost at home since August.

That West Ham team looks a bit light tonight. Can't see them helping our cause.
I like when Carroll is there for his physicality. He scares defenders.
