He was right when he said we shouldn't need two holding MFs at home to a championship team

A lot of diving going on here.

Disappointing. Bring on Sanchez for Elneny and let's get this tie won.

    No, he was still wrong.

We don't need them, we're just playing the second team.

Elneny looks good take Flamini off.

Flamini is a poor footballer. While I understand that he does a specific job and is needed to an extent, his lack of ability in even simple things like short passing and decision making lets Arsenal down again and again. Small things, but they are often the difference. Coquelin is a far better player to have in that role and even he is not fully proven yet.

Early days but looks weak in the tackle to me.

    Thought Flamini played well.

I thought the opposite, like the look of Elneny's game.

Great save from the keeper to deny Campbell.

Sanchez on not to try prevent the replay.

Would have to say Campbell looked the weakest of our front 3 today.

Hope these subs do the business.

good to hear , cant expect the chap to be outstanding on his debut , coquelin still by far one of the best holding mids in the world IMO at the moment tho :D

When's the last time we looked good against 11 players?

We've played well, had a few decent saves out of their keeper. Can't remember Ospina doing anything.

Ya think? We're back to being incredibly blunt it seems. Not a first 11 starting but pretty much all make the matchday squad so I don't see strength as the issue.

It's just the same old issue. Conversion rates.

18 shots, 8 on target. No goals.

Disregarding that, the match has been well controlled. Should have at least one goal in the bank though.

Alexis still looking for his form. Without success, unfortunately.

Worried now about it with only 10 minutes left...

Unfortunately not watching the match but looking at the BBC text commentary it would appear that the Hull keeper is having a great game and putting in a great performance?

I'm just thankful that Welbeck has made it through the game ok and has got some match practice.

Against a team from the Championship 20 shots would be expected. There's only been a couple of "sitters", and taking chances is an issue again. 20 shots against a poor team content to sit back is one thing, how many are we gonna get against United/Barcelona/Spurs? :/

I'd expect more clear cut chances against a team that actually has a go.

Hull just had one of the best chances of the match.
