A lot of Utd fans are saying that LVG will stay until CL is gone. Same as happened with Moyes. Saves them massive amounts in playoffs and also sets a good bar to stop them being reactionary.

I will cry if Mourinho is managing unite before we play them.

I think it will divide the team rather than bring them together.Any respect i had for utd would be gone if they appoint that cnut

I know its being reported as a done deal between Utd and Mourinho but id still be amazed if it happens. Utd are a proud club and im not sure that they would take Mourinho with the inevitable sideshow and disruption that he brings

I'd almost welcome it. Him and the dross at United against Pep and his bottomless pockets.

I'd love to see him get fired from a prem job for the third time.

But i'd prefer never to see him again.

United would become the most hated club straight away again for me if they hired him , he'd probably bring Terry with him in the summer too despite what terry said about not playing for anyone else

Lampard said the same and scored the winnner against Chelsea for Man City

Id have no fear in Mourinho any longer tbh. He made it at very success starved teams with his uber-defensive tactics (including Porto while strong in Portugal were lacking in Europe) but when he had it all like at Real and Chelsea he absolutely blew it big time and in nonsensical fashion. He gets bored easily and this seaps into the players. United fans, ex players and current players demand more adventure and abandon and not fear and negativity. They are the club of Best and charlton and unrest will settle after a while when results go sour just like LVG

Personally i think he'll fail at United. In 2004, he may have been 'a breath of fresh air' but i think football has grown tired of him and his cheap antics.

BRING HIM ON TA FÚCK AND LETS PUT FOOTBALL OUT OF HIS MIND!

They dived for fun against Celtic the night but what i mean is that Porto werent exactly a European Super Power at least since the 80s and there is still a deficit between the Champions league and UEFA cup. Granted they had more quality but were incredibly cynical. Porto were impressive if boring. Inter didnt spend alot either and in true Italian fashion they absorbed his system of playing

Not a fan of Celtic in the least but that was the worst match I ever saw, referee couldn't react.

These last posts remind me why I don't visit soccer forum frequently...

I like a prospect of having Mourinho back in the premier league.

He will bring some life into it imo.

Not a big fan of him meself, but doesn't mean I don't want him around.

Haters gonna hate I see :)

Only gone 2 months, how lifeless has the league become?

I respect his achievements, think he's a wanker though

I think that phrase applies to people who people have an unsubstantiated hatred of.

Just can't stand the man and his ego. I'd like to see him in management somewhere else and hopefully somewhere he can last more than a few seasons but his second stint at Chelsea really compounded my disdain for him.

If Arsenal don't win the league this season and he ends up at United, I can see them winning the title again before Arsenal. Also part of the reason id rather not see him manage in England again.

Off to China for a few seasons with him. Plenty of money to spend there.

Wow. That's really resting players. It's essentially our second string.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,433 ✭✭✭wandatowell

Loads of pace in our front 4 and plenty of experience at the back.

    Happy with that.

Strong looking bench too if things don't go to plan.

    3-1 to the Arsenal.

Apart from our two CB's it is.

Apparently Hull have made a lot of changes to their usual side too. I'm surprised that both Mertesacker and Koscielny are playing (probably because there are no other options). Didn't think Koscielny would be risked in particular.
Anyway can't see us losing this, going for a 2-0 win.

Very excited about getting a chance to see Elneny and Iwobi.

Good team, hopefully a good game.

But as usual, I'll take a boring ass one nil. Whatever it takes for Arsene to lift it 3 times in a row.

    Ospinas kicking is generally woeful

Welbeck back to needing plenty of chances.

He's playing well. Looks strong after 10 months out.

This back 3 for Hull are so slow they would make me look quick. If the pacey front players cant score versus this, questions must be asked.

Robbie Savage makes me envy the deaf. I think it could be mute time.
