Gonna spend my time reading the first batch of write ups, looking forward to Lord TSCs in particular based on the pics I spotted on a brief scan of the posts.

Thanks for the feedback, really appreciated. I'm in a similar position, need two more picks to flesh out my roster slightly and one key element so it could be a while before my third show is up! Hopefully PTH gets online in next 30 mins or so and I'll be able to shoot my pick up quickly too. Otherwise it'll be around 5.30/6pm before I get to it with work!

Ive yet to read your second show but based on your first your off to a great start.

While I have said Ive my first 2 shows practically ready to go, reading the current standard of shows makes me wanna try improve them a bit in the meantime.

Oh you'll love New Jack, one of the nicest guys in Pro Wrestling.

    Recent pick observations :

Hernandez and Chavo : Was thinking of drafting Hernandez with another partner so that one off my list. Really surprised he didnt go earlier.

William Shatner : Slick Willy goes to Liz yet again, it just wouldnt be right having Liz without Shatner.

Charlie Haas is a great bonus pick for any roster. Lucky TBC.

I misread the stip and assumed it was going in the other order, Im picking for Walt instead of BH. Had a nice pick for Walt n all planned.

Wait I'm confused, I'm ahead of you in the order so your picking for me right? Or is that what you just realised but in your first line got my name and salts mixed up?

Assuming it is Cheese I'm picking for I have 1 of 2 picks in mind, 1 would really compliment what he's got but not make him change many plans while the other one might annoy some as they might have this pick in mind if its still available then but it would be a v nice one and could work well with his roster IMO.

Hope I don't delay things much though, late here now and only get back home after my flight a little after this time tomorrow so might not be able to pick till then. Wouldn't suggest who anyone should pick for me but my next planned pick could have a few that'd compliment it even if you can't think of any to go with what's already there or has been in the BWA previously.

Yeah I just realised im picking for yourself. While I wouldnt want to ask you who you want (defeating the purpose of the stip), I would like to get someone who you actually would use.

Either way I assure you I'll pick for you as if its my own roster.

Pick the latter option, make a young organisation into a major player ;)

Was going for the other partner then realised it was hard to ignore Chavo when i have Eddie already

Two good additions there, Charlie Haas as a former member of Team Angle and The Gangstas fit PTH's roster perfectly.

With Titus's recent suspension I can't help but feel I should completely re-think his character for my shows & make him a playful hugging machine hellbent on being friends with the boss.

I need one more pick in order to put up my preview, however I may wait until pick 15 to get the pick I need in order to put my write-up up. But Im in no rush either as still debating about how to introduce one character.

Yep things have slowed down a tonne. Initially I wanted to have all my picks made before writing anything as I still think there is some great talent available, but things have slowed so much I decided to just go with what I have for now and book the rest on the fly. And I think you know who I am waiting to draft ;)

With two shows left and my PPV I'm sure I can fit them in!

Because I am off work sick today and la familia are gone out so as to avoid getting my flu, I have made up graphics for my tv show, found an awesome theme song for the company and am now working on graphics for my ppv. I may feel shít but at least some good has come of today.

It's something I've probably overlooked this year - graphics, pics and theme tunes. Still time to change - but I'm rather set in my ways!

Just as a general observation - not a critique, as I understand with time constraints - but I'm struggling with the short format ie not having time to build my storylines organically as opposed to rushing them out over the course of 4/5 shows and a PPV. Used to do a small bit of fan-fiction way back in my teenage years and steadily built my major stories over the course of a few months (shows and PPVs).
MNG's Dynamite King story last year really sticks in my mind as something that could have been epic teased out over a period of... say... 3 months of shows and PPVs. Not that it wasn't spectacular as it was of course!!

With my preview I tried to lay the ground work of some long form stories. I basically tried to cover the first 9 months of my promotions history and my tv will then build from that to our big April PPV.

I will say I dont expect to win because my stories aren't overly complex. Its what I'd call wrestling booking 101. Good guy vs bad guy, titles matter etc... But even though i have only written my preview so far I have had a blast with this.

In many ways its 4/5 posts and a PPV. You can do what you want with those posts, 1 could be a review of the past few months for example.

Pick Made and pm sent now to see what Joe has in store for me. Think Cheese will probably be happy with my one for him.

I'd be similar to Necro with the short format. Whenever I play TEW I'm much more comfortable writing long term feuds & character pushes, it's how I know I would never make it as a WWE writer :P This is the 1st time I've done a preview though so hoping I've been able to address this.

Oh I have no expectations of winning either, but when I'm in I may as well give it a go.

That's a fair point. I'm not a fan (or particularly fabulous) at synopsis or summaries though so went with the standard formula. Again I'm really not complaining at all!

Really happy with Zeb, really lucked out at getting him so late. Have a big BIG role planned for him.

Hope BH likes his pick from me. I watched Bryans ROH series with Morishima this week and I really hope BH can find a role for him.

On the flip side, Walt really....Really....Really helped me out a bunch. I have a ready made role for Evans and Hart. :) Really happy

Jack Evans and Teddy Hart?! Jesus theres a blast from 2004!! Quality pick to be given though and possibly slot right into whatever plans you had for The Young Bucks.

Morishima's a vastly underrated pick in the draft in my opinion.. Glad your happy with the picks dude, personally another 2 guys i think are underrated in the draft, although if my memory serves me right im pretty sure Diabhal Beag did Teddy Hart some serious justice one year!:pac:
