Pretty sure it's a discount card, not a trade car than I can get. Or are they the same thing?

An AXA Plus card gets you 10% off at Ye Fords of Hal. It was 15% until fairly recently. A Trade card is a different animal, for folk in the motor trade, and the discounts are fairly beefy.

I have an axa discount card and get 10% of everything even reduced items which is handy I think sat navs are the only thing you can't get the 10% on. A trade card would be a step above that but from the above list I'm not eligible.

It would have been handy as im slowly buying some of their professional range tools to kind of build up a collection of my own you really can't beat them for the money the ratchets are really good even comparing them to some of my dads much more expensive sets. Ah sure I'll just buy them when there half price plus 10% off is still very cheap.

Get that there monster 200-piece socket-set of theirs, that's tremendous value.

It's handy to have both as the trade card only covers some things, and depending on who you get on the till, they give you the 10% off on top of other promotions.

Oh I'd love both, but I am regrettably unable to finagle! :D

That definitely next on the list that or the 150 piece one I think I'll wait till the summer and treat myself to it. It's something you would have for years and years. I have the compact professional 30 piece 1/4 inch set which has the sockets, hex and flat Philips pieces and it's so handy it's left in the boot and I'm always using it either for small bits on the car or around the house.

It's nice that it's so small you can leave it in the boot the 200 piece set would be a bit much to haul around more for the shed. The little 1/4 inch ratchet is so impressive though I mean it's really strong.

Just looked up that socket set that's some set for the price.

Use their professional range daily at work can't fault it lovely in the hand.

On a side note lft the socket case open by mistake must have been raining what's the best thing to use to clean the socket set?

That was a steal if I went to get one would the axa card work with a reduced item.

Have a card from a few years ago when I was with axa.

Chanced my arm before in the limerick shop when I said I had left it at home.

No need to blag the axa card just print this out and hand it to them for 10% off:

Yep it will, it was reduced to €125 in stores but €100 online. Reserved it at that price, picked it up at that price and used my AXA card for further 10% off :)

Could you print off a few of them and just have them in the car?

    Forget it.

Dealer or scrapyard is the only option. Although driver's side seal from breakers can be even more worn than yours - but, if you're lucky to have any friends on the Continent they may be able to sorce you a mint one. :)

Ah dang! I see, I'm guessing the rubber seal would be a bit steep from the dealer?
