Both long since removed - they were in the toys aisle and in the kitchen/toilet roll aisle before.

Why do they remove them? They did the same in the Killarney store in the past 6 months.

Because they're too useful in finding pricing errors to take double the difference on, I'd guess.

In Maynooth you can use the gun to scan your shopping. Much handier than the wall thing for finding bargains. I once did an entire shelf of toys just standing in front of them

wish they had that in limerick, or the app would work.

Maynooth: the price check scanner is in the clothing section and is working fine (at least it was yesterday anyway).

Devil's Advocate: Because annoying customers come in, get a load of stuff and leave it in a pile next to the scanner before leaving.

    Energizer 3 Led Headlight - €2.10

    http://www.tesco.com/direct/energizer-3-led-headlight-torch/208-6845.prd

    ---

Comes with 3 AAA batteries in the blister pack. Almost as cheap, in price, as the headlights from the various Euro stores.. but you get the batteries as well. Build quality is fine. Adjustable strap, adjustable tilt.

Mentioned already, but I thought I'd flesh it out with some pictures.
Purchased in South County Dublin. Ballybrack.

Also in Tesco Tralee Manor for the same price. The plastic casing feels a bit light and flimsy but the inclusion of the batteries makes it a decent buy.

Picked up one for the car - definitely recommend it for that purpose.

Picked up a couple of those energiser this evening, saw them in Dunnes after :-)

The 43" was €379 before Christmas - I bought one. Now its marked €399 'reduced from €599'
Saw those on display for the first time as they are usually in box and only bigger brand names on display ( an annoying habit of Tesco)
    Anyway I can see why.

Let's just say I was amazed/astonished/shocked at just how flexible/flimsy/wobbly the tv felt. A stiff breeze and you'd have a curved tv.

On the other hand they may have been going for this

Tesco sometimes have the Energizer torches with house lightbulbs and plugs, *away* from the Energizer stand, even if there is a full Energizer stand nearby! ..as is the case in Ballybrack (South County Dublin).

Great deals on men's jeans in Tesco in Wilton.

I got two pairs that were €1.20 each. Others were priced between €4 and €6. There isn't the greatest selection in sizes, however you'll be glad to know they aren't those stupid slim fit our skinny jeans that seem to be all the rage nowadays.

6 of the energiser headtorches in Tesco Wilton by the bulbs. Only 33lm and doesnt look in the slightest waterproof so if you're looking for something bright or waterproof probably better to go with something from China.
