My cat hasn't been home since last night and it isn't like him to be out for so long. It's getting dark and it's cold and wet and I really want him to come home now, that cat, he will make me prematurely grey!! :p

He's probably all warm and cosy, fed to the gills and sleeping on someone's couch. They probably thought he was a stray and being a cat, he's milking it for all it's worth. Don't worry, he'll return when he grows tired of his new set of human fools.

He came back!!! He stuffed himself with food and then went straight to bed. So relieved :)

Im the exact same literally:pac:but I even feel that way after the weekend.I get through the week in work by promising myself that i will do this that and the other at the weekend and end up usually doing none of it and then kicking myself(not literally) on the Monday. Glad someone else feels the same.

After eating and drinking for Ireland yesterday I swore Id cop on today but I just went into the kitchen to make a coffee and ate a chocolate kimberley while the kettle was boiling:(

Will you both go away and spare me the thought that I will have when I get back to work....I did less than half I should have done the half week before the Christmas break thinking I'd do it on my time of. You can guess the rest!

If you've a desktop computer / laptop, you know you can watch the bbc channels (and others) live on www.filmon.com?

(Obviously, I know you may want to just watch on the tv, but thought I'd mention)

I think it's a law of nature that whenever my mother tries to turn the TV on, she will always point the remote at herself and say that it's broken. She's been doing it for 25 years.

I thought something terrible had happened. Like you stopped being TA at things or something! :P

Going shopping with my mum and two sisters today and I want to spend money but I'm so worried I won't get paid on Thursday. Damn my paranoia.

Verified by visa. Got my password wrong a few times so now I need to contact my bank. Any time I pay for something online I have to hope they don't try to verify it.

I was actually going to change the name of this thread a few days ago but I thought better of it. There's no way I could deal with the backlash from you trivially annoyed people.

I had plenty of TAs yesterday! I kept getting woken up during the night so I was already grumpy when I got up. Then I was going to go to the shops and noticed my car has a flat tire. :( I ended up taking public transport, so many people everywhere and I couldn't even get everything I wanted. When I finally got back home it was late, and I also found out that the breakdown assistance that comes with my car insurance doesn't come to your home, only roadside. Ugh!!

A Trivial CAVEAT more than ANNOYANCE but anyway...

In the Square Tallaght,it was noticed that FOUR stores in 2 distinct price categories are selling flying drones.
These are in no particular order: Gismo, TIGER, EuroGiant and The Camera Centre.

The CAVEAT: Only ONE of these is going to give any sort of semi - decent customer aftercare.

The other 3......the less said the better.....Caveat Emptor.:)

I've said it before but I'll say it again.

If you use a question mark at the end of a statement to indicate confusion (e.g. "I though today was Saturday?" or "I don't understand why people can't use basic punctuation?") you should have to take a course in basic English usage.

And I read everything you write with an upward inflection at the end? which makes you sound really annoying in my head?

The OH had to work today, I went out for lunch, after all the gorging of the last few days I had it in my head to have some fish.... but when I sat down it didn't appeal to me so I ordered a steak sandwich and had apple tart for dessert as well...and they were lovely!

When I message a company and there is a 'xx' at the end of their reply.

I don't care if it's just a facebook message to your business, please don't put a kiss kiss at the end, oh and don't call me 'hun' thanks.

I took two painkillers for my headache and it doesn't feel as if the pills went down; feels like they're still stuck in my throat.
I've eaten something to try and push them down but I think they did go down; it's just the sensation that they haven't.

Wanting pizza for dinner but realistically will have cod and vegetables

The O.H bought me an item of clothing "to keep me warm" as she has never seen me wearing one, or seen one in my wardrobe, think my face said it all when she showed me it....
I hate body warmers, I like sleeves. that's why she's never seen one anywhere around me,
and guess who's in the bad books now?
