Anyone saying we've lost the title are morons. We've done brilliant up to this game considering our injuries.

We've got some easier games coming up so let's roll on.

No easy game in the PL this season, but that team only got 1 point from 15. Spuds put them to the sword, a average Liverpool team beat them 6-1, Even Villa got a point there. But It wasn't surprising we slip up cause this team has it in them to mess things up. Koeman has Wenger read well, he only lost 2 ti to him in 15 matches.

We are playing a in form Bournemouth on Monday who beat Chelsea and Utd. Plu haven't lost in 5 games. That's no easy game.

Fair play for some of the optimism in here but we just lost 4 nil to a Southampton team in nowhere near good form. You don't just move on from that and put it down to a one off and not expect it to happen again?

I hope Wenger can address it and perhaps with players coming back and maybe a quality signing or 2 he can but we've been here many times before.

    All very true.
But we're a different beast at home.

Could we not do a straight swap with Arteta or even throw Gibbs in? :pac:

Southampton has never been a easy game for us. They beat us twice last year if I recall correctly.

    We won twice no?

It does usually take us a few games to bounce back after defeats like this.

    I'm sure we lost.
We probably hammered them 4-0 and I'm just talking out my arse.

If we're on our game we are but if we ain't, Good god we're awful.
He has to play nearly the same side on Monday, maybe give Gabriel and Ox a run out instead of Flamini and Mert maybe. Probably give Gibbs and Debuchy a run out too.

It really is just so Arsenal, get form, give huge hope, beat City chance to go top on St. Stephen's Day a huge Christmas present and instead deliver a 4-0 humiliation over the festive period

Yeah few wins in a row is a big deal, shows how small-time we are alas.

    Excuses:

Players are physically jaded. Why do we have such a tight Christmas period where Arsenal have the least days to rest.
Squad is thin due to high amount of injuries.

    No excuses for:
Southhampton have been very poor lately, we should have cruised this game in theory.
We didn't show respect for So'ton and left ourselves exposed.
Lack of CDM replacement for Coquelin of first team quality.

Gibbs can go run out under a bus

Time to take a break from here now, mental health reasons!!! Looking for bouncebackability now... Do we have it??

Sentiment is correct, but way over the top. No need for that though.

I'm hopeful but it's tough to bounce when you only have 40 hours to reinflate.

The amount of injuries mean that not many changes can be made either. Any hope of a sooner than expected return for Alexis ?

    No. Just No.

We're in a situation needs must :pac:. That's how bad it is for us. Wenger can't play the same side over a week.

We've lost in the Prem 3 times previously this season. Following match we've had 2 wins and a draw. We haven't lost two in a row. Take from that what you will :D

Despite the loss tonight we have 19 points away and 17 at home so that, good sir, is complete bull****.

Two to three weeks, so he probably be back after the FA Cup game. Wilshire and Welbeck ain't back until the end of January. Arteta it seems is looking more likely he's going to retire and Carzola and Coq won't be back for two months.

Gibbs, Debuchy, Ox, Gabriel, Chambers, are the only ones we could rest some 1st players for. But even then they aren't going to make us stronger.

Changes have to be made on Monday. Gabriel has to start, possibly bring Chamberlain into the midfield and hope Alexis can play a part.

Not back for two to three weeks, so he's out.

there is a real danger of someone getting injured on Monday through over use. I'd rather see an inferior substitute play than risk that.

    I'd rather play with 10.

    17/24 possible points at home.
    19/30 possible away.

not complete bull****, maybe a little.
