Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Depends...did he give you his number? Did you give yours?

I broke the bout of celibacy after the medicine ball on Saturday. First time ever going home with a "stranger"... so I'm having a weird "what happens now?". I'm not looking for anything atm so not bothered if he doesn't get in touch but should I? WHAT'S THE PROTOCOL?

Get in touch if you like him or wanna see him again...if not, there's no harm done!

Only ever had one experience like that, going back a few years now. She was only in town for the weekend and made her intentions clear! She gave me her number anyway but we never made contact again in the end.

    Everyone is different though!

Got his snapchat, the facebook add and instagram follow but no phone number!

Don't really know what the protocol is with these things. He stayed until like half two the next day and was on about going on a date sometime but we've many mutual friends so was like but "yeah you've study week/exams coming up so we will figure something out"

V nice guy, got on well, wouldn't mind meeting him so realisitically should get in contact with him but I'm manic with college until the 17th so is there any point?

Eugh I'm v bad with this kind of thing

If you want to see him again, even if you don't have the time before Christmas, what does it hurt to send a message saying "Would love to meet up, but am manic with college until the 17th, wanna meet up after Christmas around New Years?"

If it's not worth waiting a few weeks, then no big loss.

Usual caveat of my total and utter lack of experience with relationships.

You've the right idea tbh, sure I might send some sort of message and see if anything comes of it. The worst that happens is he doesn't reply :o

That is literally all I came here to say...procrastination is a bitch

I know, I literally thought that myself as he walked out the door. Should've just blatantly asked for a phone number

Ah being friends on Facebook is more than good enough, you can just send him a message. Anyway I think message him. You do want to see him again, he seems like a nice guy and ye had a nice time. If he's not up for it, you won't go to pieces over it, but you'll have given it a shot and there's nothing wrong with that at all. :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 818 ✭✭✭MauraTheThird

We should all go for a meetup at Limerick on Ice or something... It's perfect, what better way to see if someone is suitable than see how they react when you fall all over ice?

He's not the one my heart belongs to. Neither are you. Sorry bbz <3

I'm actually in a really good place relationship wise, and my insecurities aren't getting the worst of me. GO ME!

    Random Question,

are there any here who've taken a few virginity's and how does ye feel about it? Taking someones vcard is not always a pleasant thing.

I took 2 (afaik) but one was a mutual thing- it was both our first times.

I felt a difference the second time because he felt more strongly towards me a we had shared a moment for him, but as bad as it sounds, it was just sex for me. I don't think I would go down that route again for casual sex purely because it hurt his feelings that I didn't seem as bothered about it being his first time as he thought I should have. Probably saying that badly
