    Text from Supervalu this evening. 18 pack of Bulmers 20 Euro Friday only - Super price! . How many each store will have is the problem after the last two "one day only deals" Also 18 cans coke for 5 Euro (not technically Booze, I know, but a great mixer!!)

    Same as everywhere else. After 10.30am. Probably all gone (or taken by Supervalu staff) by 10.33.

    Got one in Tallaght to be precise. Jervis is not usually good for these offers but I guess you may find in some other store.

    Hi all just too let you know I got my whiskey shopping started. Centra have paddys 700ml €19 and spend over €50 and you get €10 off. = bottles for €47 I don't know how long the offer is on for.

    Picked up the last bottle of Chivas Regal 12YO in Tesco Coonagh Cross for €22.50. Johnny Black is €36 here too and the others are at their normal prices.

    It does looks a bit random. Seems like different stores are clearing out their non moving or probably old stock.

    Few other Tesco stores are doing these as well (again not all):

    Bacardi Oakheart - €14.30
    Irish Mist (liqueur) - €14.99
    Zaconey - €14.99
    Teachers Whisky - €14

    All 70cl bottles.

    They don't all reduce prices on clearance stock at precisely the same time either. It's possible that some stores with no whisk(e)y reductions now will in the coming weeks.

    Tesco on Prussia street and Tesco in Cabra have no good deals if anyone is thinking of checking. JWB is €36.

    This is why I hate that SuperValu took over Superquinn. Anyone remember the days when Superquinn used to regularly do €15 bottles of really decent stuff like Beefeater?

    Anything that's like Beefeater can hardly be called decent in fairness.
    €25 for a litre of Gordons isn't too far off your price point. Works out at €17.50 a regular bottle.

    Supervalu were doing Gordons 2x70cl for €30 2 weeks ago, and there's over €4 more tax on a bottle now than when Superquinn were doing it.

    I've seen it for 11.99 in my local off licence! I'd say you're grand, I remember Dunnes last year had it for 12 for a good week or two
