I have nothing to prove at all. My point is that if you are man enough to unfilter your mouth and run it without care of what distress or upset you cause, dont be surprised when someone shuts it with a fist. And yes, I have knocked out a couple of people over the years who didn't know when to stop talking and digging holes for themselves. Not proud of it but I won't let any ****head condescend or badmouth to people close to me without a response.

Really. And no one ever reported it to the Garda.....

So, someone who insults a "chubby funster" deserves to potentially die?

Why would they report it? They brought it upon themselves with the inability to shut their own mouths.

2/10. I'd give it higher marks if it wasn't from a guy who feels he has a right to instruct people on how he wants them to live life

Sorry I wasn't really aiming that at you, it was more a general question as its always quoted as women.
I'm with you there Whoops. Yes the population in the West is getting fatter, but it's actually a little more men than women that are becoming obese.

As for this "campaign"? WTF? It's just being incredibly fcuking nasty, an onanistic thrill for the self described "normal" getting one over the people they target. OK so you don't dig fatter women(and as Whoops points out it's women being targeted) and you know that's cool and the gang. So what's the issue? Do men or women who don't like blondes go around handing brunettes bottles of peroxide? Nope, they do not. Tiny cock syndrome IMH.

Many worry about Artificial Intelligence. I worry far more about Organic Idiocy.

1/10 real life is not Fallout 4 there tends to be consequences in real life one can't go around hitting people Well anyone over the age of 16 probably knows that. :pac::pac:

You can hit anyone who really deserves it, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Reach for your dreams.

I really doubt you've ever been in a violent confrontation. Resorting to violence or threats of violence are the sign of someone with serious insecurities and wanting to prove something.

I deal with people like that every night. If you can't handle a verbal insult from an idiot without resorting to violence it says a lot about you.

I'm not instructing anyone. Just stating the obvious, that being all Lord Pudgington in life is not healthy and will most likely lead to an early grave.

    :)

You don't know me personally so don't make assumptions, I've had my fair share of confrontation. Been bottled by a girl I went to help from a beating by her wonderful charming boyfriend, been stabbed in the arm breaking up a fight outside abra at 3 in the morning.

I'm older now and my tolerance for clowns and assholes out to give themselves a laugh is non existent, I'll hit you first and worry about your intentions later.

Reminds me of this article posted earlier where a woman writes about experiences she's had with strangers passing remarks on her weight and appearance.

Whatever your opinion on someone's weight, there's no excuse for carry on like that. And it may come as a surprise to some, but fat people know that they're fat. They don't need strangers in the train station to tell them.

It sounds like you've taken more beatings, than anything.

Why do you keep getting involved in other people's problems? Playing the hard man hasn't worked out well for you in the past, why would it solve anything in the future?

Are you really that insecure about your wife's weight that you'd kill someone over it?

Cool, So how many times has one been done for assault ? And don't please use some ridiculous argument that people don't go to the Garda after receiving a kicking.

Tbh I think someone got into the Sherry.

Would you hand a stranger who was smoking a card which informed them of what a horrible person they are and how much you hate them?

Or maybe put up signs telling them that they're not welcome? Force them to go into special areas away from the general public? Tell them that it's a disgusting habit and that they're harming others and costing the taxpayers money?

There are a lot of parallels between this campaign and how smokers are treated.

I don't play a hard man at all. In the 2 instances I referred to, I genuinely feared for those people and went to help to my detriment. I don't get involved at all these days.

And no, I wouldn't kill someone over disparaging my wife but I'd make sure they felt every bit of regret the day after. There is no excuse for it and if you're thick enough to do something stupid like that in the presence of their OH, you deserve everything you get.

I just can't understand the mentality of ***** like this. Is your life so perfect that you have nothing else to concern yourself with than the weight or shape of people you don't even know? It's disgusting in every sense of the word and anyone with this mindset fully deserves to have the absolute **** kicked out of them.
    Ah heyor, leave it out.

The overreaction on this thread is hilarious. And over what? A few leaflets about weight! Get a grip. Most people probably know if they are overweight or obese anyway; a leaflet telling them they are isn't going to be that big of a surprise, however hurtful. If this is the kind of thing that has people in uproar and questioning society, then things aren't too bad at all. I mean, I have horrible teeth, which is due to my own lack of attention towards them over the years, and I'm very subconscious over it. If someone handed me a leaflet telling me I'm a drain on society and that I have a horrible, rotten set of teeth and an ugly smile, I'd probably feel a bit sad but I'd also have to reflect honestly on the situation and admit that they have a point. And I'd most likely go home and brush like a mad bastard. Or not. Who cares at the end of the day. Live your life. Let them live theirs. It's a big bad world. Don't take everything said to you to heart.

But smokers do affect others when they smoke (I have the odd cigarette myself by the way). Being overweight is unhealthy too of course but I see a difference between criticising a habit and just having a go at someone because of how they look. Saying their lifestyle is unhealthy is fair enough but insults - too far.
