Is there some sort of a one day sale tomorrow? Was looking at some Christmas stuff on the app and it seems to be on special tomorrow only.

Replying to my own post but I picked up these earlier. No SEL to indicate a sale but having checked the website last night I was correctly confident.

How would they? Surely the swipe card is configured to only work with Dunnes' systems? How could it work in a competing supermarket?

I wonder if my local Dunnes could give me the value on the card in traditional vouchers? I could use them in Tesco I assume.

I think you are confusing what Tesco accepts as competitors vouchers.

Tesco ACCEPTS the vouchers (Money off) you normally get with their mailing lists, till receipts, newspapers. Spend €50 get €5 off, Spend €100 get €10, etc

You are talking about a gift vouchers you get maybe from a friend, win competition, etc card preloaded with €50, €60, etc similar to one4all card, They DO NOT accept them.

Butlers white chocolate mixed berry bars (100g) being sold for 53c in Tesco Douglas. In with the rest of the large bars in the chocolate aisle, other flavours in the range selling for €2.30 so it's a pretty good deal.

There's actually a bargain in Tesco Rathmines for once. Just stocked up on loads of frozen food. Probably lines they are trying to get rid of because the BB dates are well into 2016.

Loads of assorted McCain fries: Spiced Wedges - 30c, French Fries - 37c
    Kinsale fish pie - €1.25
    Tesco Green Beans - 11c
