I'll schtick a big dohrty turbo on mine for next one so!

Rolling roadblock though I got a good laugh out that :D Autogrips worked quite well in the dry, it was my brakes that saved the day!

Your brakes did stop it on its head, I just had the rears off and have totally destroyed the pads! They are baked! New set needed.

When I was behind you I was backing off earlier than normal because your car could stop so fast I was afraid of not leaving distance :)

Sent the car in for a new clutch only to be told that it needs a new flywheel as well. :(

Looks like I'll be hanging onto it for the next few years now.

What do you mean? I was looking for an ST before. Am I in certain audience? I was thinking it could be a good track day car.

One thing you could do is change that unbelievably outdated sig of yours (your daily driver one) and replace it with a link to your ad ;)

Aren't non adverts ad against the rules ? :p

    Good idea mind

Having a link in your sig is fine. You could have it advertised on a porn site and it'd still be fine.

Plus I think they've kind of calmed down on the who adverts.ie thing.

I'd be interested to hear many how come knocking/ringing/texting about your ST. Its the kind of car that I imagine will attract a lot. Serious performance for not too much money.

Hopefully you get a genuine one sooner rather than later.

    Good luck with the sale

He sold it once before so I would say he knows what to expect, its a decent price for an ST also.

I git feck all of them when I was selling my own car got one lad who thought it would be hilarious and offer 500 for it in fairness he sounded about twelve.

But nothing for months then two viewings in a couple of days and sold both wanted it for a weekend car.

Had one of the longer work days today, reset the trip computer this morning lol

    8uRwTU.jpg

I dunno what 8.2l\100km is in old money but for the 300bhp car that it is I don't think it's too bad. Wasn't exactly light on the righ pedal either. It's been more economical so far than the Mondeo ecoboost which I found mildly interesting...

These cars absolutely eat up miles like nothing else. Great seats/stereo/climate control. Plus @80mph its pulling 1750rpm :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,480 ✭✭✭YbFocus

That is some mileage for one day!!

Thats somewhere just shy of 30mpg doing it in my head, very impressive if I am right!

Nearly 35mpg. Funny that the speedo is solely in mph but the trip computer reads in l/100km.

There mustn't have been much work done, 820 miles at 65mph is like 13 hours at the wheel? :pac:
