You're aware the Brits' alternative to Brendan O'Carroll of a Friday night is Miranda Harte, a wo big strapping man who recycles material dating from before she was born.

    :P

I wonder is it a freebie?

Seriously. It's a known marketing ploy from Irish car suppliers to supply "celebrities" with free cars. Benefactors I know of include Tubbs (Jaguar), Pat Kenny (BMW), Rosanna Davison (Audi), Rob Kearney (Audi), Brian O'Driscoll (Lexus), Amy Huberman (Range Rover), Kathryn Thomas (Audi), Paul O'Connell (Toyota), Katie Taylor (Toyota)....it goes on and on and on......

    I'd say probably yes, Butters.

Remember the large hubub a few years ago when Tubbs declined a free make of luxury car because, well, the country was huurtin, RTE was bust and he was still raking in a nice sum for being so farkin talented.
I don't recall a peep out of the rest of RTE's, ahem, "top talent".

Nope, I have a friend who works in the Head Office of a fordin car manufacturer. If you "sponsor" a celebrity to the tune of a free car, you pay for pretty much everything car-related. Some of the juicier dealz include fuel!
