Ye I like the mk6 Jetta a lot my auntie has had too. Great shape and interior. Trying to find one in 1.4tsi though they are all 1.2tsi and I think I'd like a petrol the next time for a change. Highline 1.4tsi would be the dream. They are fitting the mk7 golf interior to them from 2016.

I'm pretty sure I posted this to you before, but it's a great video so there's no harm in a repeat :pac:

I'm disappointed in your lack of commitment SG. You should know well at this stage that such a scenario perfectly justifies an entire interior strip and rebuild in carbon fibre.

    *sigh*

    Temporary car Jim

    TEMPORARY !

That's a great idea, we could really do with one now that the NCT records Mileage.

Well, we already have that. But it costs €35 to check. :P

The UK also has those sites, but this one is a free Government funded one.

True. UK also has howmanyleft.co.uk thing. Would be cool if they had that here too. :o

Ah a Highline Jetta has most extras you could want but it's not exactly a surprise clarkson doesn't love them. Ah I think maybe I'm abit young for one its probably something you'd buy if you were looking for a family car with a bigger boot than a golf. Still same engine same spec a Jetta is over 4K cheaper new than a golf.

Decided to take a drive to Limerick today since i had the day off, been almost 10 years since i was up that way from Cork,
Have to say it was the most unenjoyable spin i've ever had, between road works, and trucks driving on the white line, i feel sorry for anyone that has to commute that road on a regular bases..

Looks like it's either molls gap again next week or waterford, easy driving :)

Does anyone know if the Ballymount Civic Amenity still accept old engine oil free of charge?

I've about 6 litres of old oil. Does anyone here use waste oil for heating? I could bring it over if you're not too far out :D

Yeah for big tailback but most annoying thing was truck drivers and OAP literally not moving from the while line allowing anyone to pass.. after 20 mins behind an old dear in a yeti, i had to drop a year and take a chance, she was doing 85 , must have lost a few pounds after that manoeuvre

Do the Black Valley next week and lose a few more pounds (for very different reasons).

Completely unsuitable for the volume of traffic and the mix of traffic types. Unfortunately the alternative route via mitchelstown doesn't suit me at all usually.
I'm just lucky it's not my commute. It's a bad accident waiting to happen.

Its up at the top of Molls Gap and you take a turn off through the mountains. It would depend on your car tbh as its very narrow and bumpy. You wouldnt want to be afraid of heights either.:pac:

2 of my neighbours have heating systems that run on used engine oil. Would you be able to find out if any of your neighbours have something similar?
