Has anyone else still not received a loyalty code? I sent off an email two weeks ago at this stage, and still nothing

I was in the same boat as you, emailed festival republic and didn't hear anything back for two weeks. Got onto ticketmaster then and they sent me out a code within about 20 minutes.

Theres no way I think that Daft Punk will play festivals again, there a lot more bucks for them doing standalone shows. The Scots were lucky to get them for RockNess festival in 2007 much to the detriment of T in the Park fans as Oxegen scooped them in the same year. I'd say someone more likely would be the Prodigy seeing as they haven't played EP yet.
Why would they stop playing festivals? Florence played the picnic and Dublin within a few days of each other, plenty of people willing to do either or both. They did a lot of festivals the last tour, don't see why they wouldnt do it again. Coachella is a big deal to them, its where they unveiled Alive 2006 and its where they unveiled Get Lucky for the first time too.

What's the ticketmaster email address you used for this?

I went onto the ticketmaster website and went through the 'contact us' section, they emailed me back almost straight away.

So when is the closing date for loyalty tickets?

    Festivalrepublic email says:
The official date for the end of the discount offer is Midnight on Saturday 31st October 2015

    But on TM, it says
    :
The offer provides loyal fans a unique saving on the Electric Picnic tickets until Midnight on 30 November 2015 so don't miss your opportunity to get tickets at these amazing prices. http://www.ticketmaster.ie/promo/xg6n20

I got this response from FestivalRepublic:
It’s the 31st October. I will get the details changed on TM.

    Thanks for pointing that out!

Tonnes of collapsible bottles in Penneys at the moment. Pack of 2 for €1.30 l (at the tills on bottom floor of Mary St anyway).. Never too early to start buying for next year ;) 11 months to go

I thought we'd settled on Capri Sun packs? :P

For anyone having issues, I went to a ticketmaster booth. Cheapest, and easiest way, although you have to pay for the ticket, in its entirety, up front.

Stereophonics aren't terrible…just terribly bland. What's worse is they are now blandly impersonating Arctic Monkeys.

Feile 95 line up.....showing my age but what a line up. Can only dream they were all (most) at EP 2016

I'd like to think that Karen Dreijer might have an interesting project going by the time the next Picnic comes around, perhaps new stuff from the Fever Ray camp. I noticed the onsite merchandise tab on the Electric Picnic website is still showing the 2014 merchandise, nothing from 2015. I thought they were on top of this stuff now, unless everything sold out over the weekend.

ha ha, I was gonna reply with something similar.
Get thee to the o3 for Muse in April. Hope they dont come back in the summer.

It would be an almighty waste of money by the EP organisers to get Muse in. On par with the Killers a few years back.

They are mad for them over in the Bestival forum, they were apparently supposed to play the festival this year but plans fell through, loads are wanting them to play it next year,

Yea Muse were being interviewed during the summer saying they were playing Download and Bestival

Muse are one of the best live bands on the go this past few years. Would love to see them at EP in 2016!! :)

    Why?

Muse could sell out a few nights in the O2 fairly easily, getting them would mean a big sacrifice in other areas of the festival.
