I wonder if tyre pressing being a little higher than the recommended would have much to with the wear.

You'd wear the centre a bit faster. Depends on how high a pressure it was :)

And yes you drive super correctly :)

Haha, that almost sounds like it's a bad thing. :pac:

The pressure was 2.5 bar. It says 2.0 in the owners manual. Hadn't checked the pressure after I got the tyres put on.

    That's about 38 psi, I'd be back around 30 or 32.
70 if you are diffing it regularly :pac:

Nope just expected you to give the e36 a good thrashing that day is all :)

Not much roping can be done on public roads, I think.

I can just see a FWD driver down shifting at high revs without giving it some throttle and ending up driving in the opposite direction :pac:

    Brown trousers moment :pac:

Don't say you're one of those who sits on the forecourt waiting for a pump on the same side as the filler cap, holding up everyone else in the process?! They're designed to stretch the width of the car for a reason!

I just reverse in. Why not just do that?

Screaming past dawdling commuters on the N3 at 9000rpm, then spitting sheets of blue flame with a tap on the throttle mid-shift - The perfect rememdy to a tough day in the office.

Sure it's juvenile and it's probably frightening the ****e out of the innocent and law abiding motorist, but it's just plain fun.

What exhaust system have you on that Dartz? Is it de-catted or something?

There's a mahoosive hole in my front flexi and the noise while annoying at cruising speed, it's just glorious bringing it up the rev range. Popping 1000 rpm before the red line too and the smell of ice caps melting just puts a bigger smile on my face

I'm never fixing the hole in my exhaust :)

Looks like my petrol car hopes may have hit another stumbling block. I only realised that the night college course I'll be doing next year is in cork  2 evenings / nights a week meaning I'll be doing well over 1k km a week. I initially thought they were in Carlow or Waterford it's going to be a bit of a pain going to cork two evenings a week at least it's only a year. I don't think the other course will be that far away probably Waterford. I'm never going to escape college at this rate :(

Anyone ever do evening/ night courses in college it doesn't exactly sound like much craic :)

I done some and am currently doing my Green belt in Lean. Takes a lot of effort with work getting in the way!
But even more satisfying to pass it :)

Oh Ye they are paying for all of them. It's them that want me to do them and it's of part the package. Doing diplomas is not something I would suggest but I suppose the more qualifications you can get the better especially when your young wouldn't be as easy going to night college twice a week if you have kids.

Did anyone have a look at the video posted on the mirror's website, about the 2 lads who were off their heads, driving a car, and crashed into a wall. Video was still recording after the crash, ya can hear a woman trying to talk to them to see if they were alive. Scarey.

That link doesn't work man, I had a 530, up in the revs was ok but it ticked over like a lorry. It was far better than 1.9tdi all the same!

    My bad fixed now.

Much much better than 1.9tdi imo it does sound a bit better up the revs now since the remap.

    It's on Joe.ie
It doesn't show the actual crash.

Just spotted the Fiat Tipo is set to make a return. Delighted as I loved the original
