Sabotaging my future self by mitching school and taking acid for the first time. 15 years old..

In many ways I'd love to have a do-over..

I was starting my first job cleaning boats whilst preparing to start 5th year. What memories. Particularly because on my first week I was sent home because I wasn't paying enough attention and absent mindedly filled the fuel tank of a cruiser full of water. The fuel and water tank points look identical but they're color coded.

I was in fourth or fifth class. At 4am on a Sunday morning I was probably doing the same thing I'm doing now - trying to sleep and failing miserably. I was certainly a lot happier back then, it's a great age. Old enough to have hopes and dreams yet young enough to believe they are actually possible.

It would depend on which of us believes ourselves to be the most important.

I've always wondered what it would be like to be someone else..

Never thought about being two people at once though!

Sounds like ye both are still taking the acid? :)

I miss them too. Nothing like the laughter as a good trip takes hold....then the visuals ;)

Ah it was a good time alright. I gave all that up in my early twenties though for the most part.

Can't say it didn't have a powerful effect on how I turned out though!

The summer I went to Prague. The country had only just become the Czech Republic. Me and my then fiancee had one guide book - the rough guide to Prague. I remember there were no other guide books or phrase books in Easons before we went. No direct flights from Dublin either. Because we were skint we went the cheap route..... by bus. There was actually a bus you could get from London to Prague (obviously including ferry). Awful way to travel, but it was about £50 return each.
It was a strange holiday. There was little or no tourism in Prague - and nobody over the age of 18 spoke any english. The phrase book at the back of the guide book was useless. Everything was written everywhere in their language - we didn't eat in any restaurant because we'd no idea what was on the menu. And everyone was so poor. We had very little money at all, but they had way less. Different times.

I would've been just starting Transition Year. Used to hang out with a skateboardy kind of group outside of school, so pretty much lived in huge baggy jeans and hoodies and Vans, and dyed the ends of my hair bright red because I was such a rebel. :pac: I was actually quite innocent really, don't think I'd started drinking or anything like that.

Was just left school and deciding college or job.

parents decided to move home but I decided to stay in dublin

How could you divide your age by 2 and get to a point that was before you were even born?

I was 14, mooning over my Maths teacher and wondering why the boob fairy had forgotten me.

    11. Started secondary school. Was still hugely obese. Played a lot of video games.

Starting fifth class in primary school. The puberty fairy had hit me over the head over the summer, so ended up wearing a jumper two sizes bigger because I was so self conscious. Got bullied fairly badly that year, actually...although that was every year.
