GW 5 Transfer Thread.

Worried about reports of Lindegaard being fancied to start as my keepers are Myhill and Hennessy. The transfer of Hennessy to McCarthy is tempting (man I wish I got that decision right at the start of the season) but there have to be question marks over him too. I think I'll risk a non playing keeper so I can evaluate properly next week.

i have myhill as well who has been pretty solid this season. odd one with lindegaard joining as forster will presumably be no.1 when fit

Romero out, Guzan in. My other GK is Hennessey so the plan is to move him out in a week or two for a 4.5 GK. That way I'll have two 4.5 GKs to interchange depending on fixtures and still only spending 9 points.

Relying on a GK to keep playing week in, week out is looking a bit risky this season.

As well as a doubt over starting they are playing city so it is a fixture most would prefer have him on bench

I have both McCarthy and Myhill and far from panic. I think theres a decent chance both will remain first choice.

Its Mourinho. They will start to get clean sheets again soon. If Myhill does get dropped I'll be getting Begovic.

Think I've decided. Have Courtois/McCarthy as my keepers and can't go with just McCarthy for 10 weeks, so Thibault has to be replaced. Bringing in Begovic as my FT.

Silva looks like a short term injury (if its even an injury) and his fixtures are great, so going to bench him and play Westwood.

Team will be:
Begovic
Darmian, Kolarov, Martin
Pedro, Payet, Mahrez, Westwood
Aguero (c), Benteke, Gomis

Subs: McCarthy, Gomez, Silva, Ward.

Gomez seems obvious but United not scoring and rumours Rooney could be out. Don't overly fancy Norwich for a cs vs Wilson and co. Dont overly fancy Utd for a cs either!

You have to play Shaw imo.

I have wildcarded so can make changes if needed.

I've come to the same decision regarding Silva... Westwood had 3 goals + 2 assists last season, 7 assists the season before, so I'm sensing a George Boyd like contribution from the Villa man tomorrow.

Banking my transfer and team will be:

Gomes
Gomez, Kolarov, Martin
Sanchez, Ayew, Mahrez, Westwood
Aguero, Benteke, Wilson

Subs: Guzan, Muniesa, Silva, Ward

Aguero will probably get the armband.

I would definitely play Shaw and would prefer Martin to Gomez. I read somewhere that Norwich Bournemouth matches last season were low scoring and who knows what can happen in derby matches. Gomez also has proven to be a yellow magnet while Martin has more attacking appeal
