So does any one have an UDFA on their team that they are hoping makes the roster? That could possibly amount to something in the NFL?

Tyler Varga (Colts), RB out of Yale who could emerge as a strong second/third choice RB. He has a very good chance too with our second, third and fourth choice RBs all injured.

lads when do the cuts have to be made?

Final cuts Saturday I think, then waivers close Sunday.

For SF, everyone has been talking about Jarred Hayne, but the guy I'm really rooting for is DeAndrew White, UDFA WR from Alabama. Looked good last night and apparently had a good camp but maybe not enough to make the roster.

Another is QB Dylan Thomplson but I don't think we will carry 3 QB's so he is likely out of luck.

Zach Zenner (RB) for the Lions.
Came from South Dakota state where he had put up 3 consecutive 2,000 rushing yard seasons & up until last night anyway, had put up the most rushing yards of any player in the NFL during pre-season.
Very exciting player, who could replace Bell if he misses time which looks increasingly possible.

    Tomorrow, I believe.

Edit: Yeah, here's a tracker. Says at the top, Saturday 5th.

In Houston he would have one of the best ground games and running backs in the league behind him, along with a legit quality #1 in DeAndre Hopkins, a solid and experienced #2 in Nate Washington, and a solid slot/trick player in Cecil Shorts One Two Three. In Buffalo he would again have one of the very best backs in the league in McCoy (who is also lethal as a receiver), an excellent 1-2 punch at WR in Robert Woods and Sammy Watkins, both young enough to be around another decade, one of the NFL's better slot/trick guys in Percy Harvin (though I find him a little overrated, and he comes over as a locker room cancer) and a very good TE in Charles Clay.

Now I'm not saying he would instantly turn back into the 2013 RGIII or anything, and his leadership issues are the biggest red flag to me which would have to be taken under consideration... but the talent is there with him, and those two teams both have the talent in a hell of a lot of other places (on both sides of the ball), but no QB to put it all together.
I don't understand the talent argument at all. That was never really the problem with RG3.

DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon, Alfred Morris, all premier skill position players. He's been blessed with good talent around him but not shown any ability to utilise it.

RG3's problem is he has zero pocket presence and zero ability to anticipate a throw. Doesn't matter who his receivers are, he's still going to get sacked due to his inability to move up in the pocket and he's still going to turn down makeable throws because he's unable to throw into windows.

Personally think Chip Kelly is probably the only man that can save RG3 from being out of the league in 2/3 years.

Should be an interesting evening/night with the cuts rolling in. By 9pm our time we'll all know our rosters.

Thank god for that. Barkleys gone to the card though it'd be odd to only carry two qbs

Especially when one is Sam Bradford.

Rajion Neal, a UDFA from last season, has been let go by GB. Will make a very good #3 RB for a team in need, and could have enough upside to become one of the better backups around or possibly even a stop-gap (though probably subpar) starter. A lot of people expected him to make it onto the team.

Justin Perillo could also make a decent #3 TE somewhere, another UDFA/practice squad guy from last season let go today by GB.

If nobody picks them up they are very likely to be back in GB as PS guys again as both are eligible.

Could be a great trade for Barkley's career to learn behind Palmer for a year or two, and with the potential for some playing time due to injuries as Palmer has a noted injury history. Maybe most of all, Bruce Arians is a legitimate QB wizard - I've never watched as much NCAA as I should but Barkley has to have some potential, given there was talk of him being a first rounder had he declared a year earlier (I vaguely remember the talk actually being that he deferred for a year in an effort to be the #1 pick, since he was never getting that with Luck around, and especially after RGIII's rise).

Bengals still paying Leah's health insurance for the next 5 years. A classy gesture all things considered.

Jonas Gray cut by Pats which is surprising. White/Bolden and Lewis are left for Week 1. Blount back week 2

Not going to happen by the sounds of things. Seahawks want Hankins, Kennard and a pick. I wouldn't trade Hankins for Kam never mind with Kennard and a pick.

Reggie Wayne asked the Patriots to release him, per Mike Reiss:
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Veteran wide receiver Reggie Wayne, who signed a one-year contract with the New England Patriots on Aug. 25, has asked for his release from the team, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

The Patriots have granted Wayne's request, as ESPN NFL Insider Josina Anderson reports that Wayne will not be on the 53-man roster, according to a league source.

Wayne would be willing to sign with another team but only in the right situation, a source told Schefter.

I wonder if it had much to do with a lot of Colts fans giving him stick?

    Just saw this tweet.

Over the past 3.5 years, Matt Flynn has been on 6 NFL teams, started 5 games, played 498 snaps… and made $15.59M.

    That's $31,305 per play.

Tyrelle Pyror makes the Browns roster, fair play to him.
