Of course there's a solution. It's not invading countries based on lies, because you desire to control their resources, or support dubious organisations with links to the terrorists that crashed aircraft into your city ten years before, because you fancy toppling governments that aren't your lapdog.

In the case of Syria this wasnt about resources that started off as peaceful protests until assad decided to start shooting at them. The whole thing snowballed there with mutinies from the syrian army and you got yourself a civil war.

Iraq on the otherhand was dubious but considering the arab spring occuring theres no clear way how things wouldve gone. As it stands the complaining about what happened 10 years ago is pointless now. Fact is once the US went in they shouldve committed to staying there simply because they took over responsibility of that country only to walk away with a half arsed job. These things can take decades to fix but the result of the US leaving Iraq is clear and there was even warnings that it could happen at that time: It would all disintegrate. Cue DarwinAward State.

As it stands while people want to say no war and all that the only chance these refugees from syria have now of getting a stable home back is to send in a UN multinational force to secure the area. Assad has to go but should be given a way out to get him to leave willingly rather than wait for him to completely cave in. People will continue to come and it will get worse if it collapses completely. As for those animals destroying people, culture and butchering and beheading children, no mercy at all. Shoot them dead and incinerate the bodies their poisonous influence is a cancer that must be purged.

As for the Hungarian PM some are lambasting him and while I dont agree with everything he says as hes obviously playing it up a bit he shouldnt be dismissed entirely either. There are some genuine points he is making that can come back to haunt Europe down the line. Europe is being too eager to take in people without putting in the necessary infrastructure to both accomodate people and ferret out the non genuine migrants. Theres limited resources and the syrians need to have priority. The migrants coming from africa whose countries arent falling apart but simply for money have to be sent home its as simple as that. We cant save everyone.

So that's your summation of the boys who drowned...part of the "invasion of gypsy types".

    That's fairly ugly.

What were they fleeing ? I'm not trying to be callous. 3 Years safety and then decide to cross.
