Coz Budgese has asked on Facebook and Twitter and all of Budgese's friends have gone... "Ah, Budgese!"

But Budgese had a serious question.

Budgese would like Kneemos to ask endacl how low he can go, and does he even know.

Superman is not powered by the sun.

    You are posting falsities ...
Superman gets the majority of his powers from Earth's yellow star, effectively making him a giant solar battery.

His powers rely on his cells' ability to absorb and metabolize solar energy from yellow stars like Earth's sun. His Kryptonian body is a living "solar battery" that absorbs solar energies and converts them to fuel for his powers.

His cells also store yellow sun energy so he can use his powers under objects, at night, in dark places, and in space.

He does know. Pretty damn low. Does it show*

Actually "Does he know" was a statement. It aggravates Budgese as a person who loves and tries to adhere to grammar but as a writer of fiction also allows use of language in context to disobey and contradict.

Budgese always enjoys Kneemos's posts and has been a fan of endacl in the religious forums.

Budgese is going to bed now!

Budgese would have used commas if Budgese wanted some. Budgese is not unlearned in punctuation!

If superman had almost limitless speed why did it take him so long to catch two missiles fired by Gene Hackman?

Air resistance. If superman had travelled any faster within the atmosphere, the increase in pressure caused as the atmospheric gasses gets compressed in front of him would have super heated them and ignited the hydrogen in the air starting a chain reaction ultimately resulting in the entire atmosphere bursting into flames.

Superman could have gotten to those missiles faster, but it would have ended all life on earth.

    SHEILA!

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
