I don't see any need to change it, don't think it will make much difference tbh.

Not before the draft starts but I saw this little info box beside where I can set the time per pick:

So, if I'm reading that correctly it should be possible for me to adjust the pick time mid-draft.. I don't know how that would work in practice though, and it may cause an issue given that the Draft tool can be flakey at times.. I'd be reluctant to go tampering with it mid-draft tbh.

Also, just noticed in the Proposed Rule Changes thread that this topic was brought up and that a few from our league were in favour of sticking with 90 seconds per pick. There is no official Boards rule from what I can tell though so we'll see what opinions are in this thread.

I would prefer 90 for the start anyway and then 60 and then even 45 towards the end.

There is a LM tools thing in the draft client and that allows you to change it I think and to pause the draft and a few other things.

im against a change as for the reasons I made in the previous thread on the same topic.

also 60 second timers don't make it a whole lot faster anyway as most picks are made well within 60 seconds anyway. Id go as far as to say that a 60 second draft is unlikely to be more than 8 mins faster.

To be honest you are probably totally right but it is just annoying when people wait the whole 90 seconds before making a pick on nearly every single pick they have. I know they are fully entitled to but :mad:.

with only 2 people having not voted Tuesday 8th 10pm cannot be beaten (although a few options can tie with it) so draft day and time pretty much set in stone now.

Fully agree did a 12 man draft the other night and still to this day can't understand why people haven't got a ton of players lined up for their next pick considering they have a fair amount of time between picks. Such is life I guess. Good rule to propose for 2016.

Yeah, thats why they have a queue system. You can have players ready to go.

Be surprised on how many people don't use the queue and these are generally the ones I am referring to.

I did a 30 second draft the other night for an 8 man league. Way too short a time for an 8 man, but 45secs for a 16 man league would be loads IMO.

I like the idea of 90 for first few rounds and then 60 for later rounds.

    Remind me again:
    - Is draft order reverse snake per round or just straight ?
    - Is the draft order available now or only when the draft actually starts ? Would be nice if the draft order was available earlier.

Dont think nfl.com lets you split up the times like espn does

Snake and 1 hour before draft

I've been away for the week so just catching up on this now. Some people changed their vote and 4 options are now tied at 9 votes, including Tuesday 8th at 10pm. A couple of the vote changes were after the September 1st deadline so I'm going to go ahead and set the draft for Tuesday at 10.

Perhaps a vote on the 4 options that are tied??

As it stood at the deadline Tuesday at 10 was the leading option. If we are accepting the post-deadline vote changes then I could go ahead and change my vote so that Tuesday at 10 wins anyway.

I've updated the league schedule. Feel free to take a look through it for any errors, as far as I know Weeks 1-3 and 11-13 will be divisional games, with weeks 4-10 non-divisional rounds.

Thanks to Spongey for doing up the template.

I am screwed for this first game. When I had to bounce from the draft the Auto picked all RB and QB leaving me with no kicker or DEF. As the settings for the league mean post draft every player is following the 2 day waiver rule I am going to have an invalid roster for the first game. Fun times not points from a kicker or def

If you pick them up will they not clear for the Sunday games?

Pretty weird that that was allowed too. In other drafts you're forced to take kicker and DST if you haven't by last 2 rounds

I don't think you are forced.

Perhaps you had guys in your q? Anyway, I think you should be ok to pick up a D and K and get them in the game for Sunday.

Edit - The commish can always just add a D and a K to your team in the manage settings. I don't think anyone would have any problems with you doing this.

Was bounced out and got back with 4 seconds before first pick expired. Panicked with rodgers as has a list of my rankings and amari cooper would have been picked #1. ugh, i need a lot of things to go right this year in order not to get to relegated.

Will all the unpicked players not become FA's on Friday? And then you can just add whatever D/ST or K you want?

    Thoughts on this team:

    QB:
    Tony Romo
    Brian Hoyer

    RB:
    Jonathan Stewart
    Joseph Randle
    Alfred Blue
    Danny Woodhead

    WR:
    Dez Bryant
    Odell Beckham jr
    Pierre Garcon
    Robert Woods

    TE:
    Jason Witten
    Larry Donnell

    K:
    Dan Bailey

    DEF:
    Chiefs

Too many Dallas players for my liking and not the strongest RB core is my own opinion!!

Everytime I look at my team I hate it, but then I realise its' a 16 teamer and everyone is week in some spot

Yeah I meant in any other league I have been in, I have seen people choose not to pick up a D or K.

Foster making huge strides in his recovery, all the dallas media are certain randle won't be rb1 by about week 3, also witten moving to an even more blocking role as murray was a great blocker and the rb's they have now are rubbish at it.
