Cheers kev. Got off to a terrible start and thought me decision to bench Shady McCoy and Mike Wallace would kill me but thankfully Odell Beckham came through for me once again. I've spent 2 years in the premier. First year i got relegated and now i win it. Delighted

so any thoughts yet on when we should get the draft organised for? im really itching to start this season

The regular season starts Thursday 10th September so I guess the draft will be held in the week before that. Sun/Mon/Tue would be my initial thought but I'll sort a poll once the league members are sorted out.

Just wondering what's the procedure, I came 3rd in Div 1 last year so presume I am promoted to Premier ? Corrigeen Crusaders.

- Do I manually remove my team from Div 1 ? or does Division admin do this ?

- How to I get added to Premier div ?

yeh i figured it wouldnt be unti late August or early september that we get the draft done. I know in previous years we've had polls to gauge which time and date is gonna be the best. I guess we just need to decide on possible dates

It seems anybody can access the link, and essentially vote. So I think unless the voter selects their boards username or team name for the division then the vote should be discounted as for all we know it could be somebody not affiliated with the division.

Not an issue thus far as everybody has entered their boards username but worth mentioning I think.

Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on who was voting and all looks above board so far. It looks like the draft will be at 10pm on Tuesday 8th September.

What is everyones opinion on time per pick?
90 seconds is the default but this can really drag.. I'd be in favour of setting it at 60 seconds but I'm just throwing it out there to see what the consensus is.

Not before the draft starts but I saw this little info box beside where I can set the time per pick:

"Set the time limit per pick for your league's draft. The LM may also change this setting in-draft via LM tools. (NFL.com Default is a 90 second time limit per pick)"

So, if I'm reading that correctly it should be possible for me to adjust the pick time mid-draft.. I don't know how that would work in practice though, and it may cause an issue given that the Draft tool can be flakey at times.. I'd be reluctant to go tampering with it mid-draft tbh.

Also, just noticed in the Proposed Rule Changes thread that this topic was brought up and that a few from our league were in favour of sticking with 90 seconds per pick. There is no official Boards rule from what I can tell though so we'll see what opinions are in this thread.

I'd prefer 60 seconds. We all have an idea of who we're targetting it and have lists ready to go. It is a long time between picks for some. Potentially 45 minutes if the whole 90 is used

To be fair we cant change the rule as it hasnt been voted on overall
