Ok, here is what I have so far as regards who is playing this year. I make it 15 confirmed, so we need one more. First things first, can everyone please help me out and fill in their team name if it is not already there.

Can a mod please change the title of this thread to simply "Boards Keeper League"? The reference to the date is from last year, and might confuse the issue for this year´s draft.

While we're polling on the draft date, thought I would suggest a change to the waiver system. At the moment it is on waiver priority, so you get a waiver claim and then go to the back of the queue.

I want to suggest a change to Waiver Acquisition Budget, something as far as I know is not done on any Boards league. Everyone gets say $100 dollars at the beginning of the season, and if you want to pick up a FA you bid a certain amount for that player. All bids are secret so you have to decide exactly how much to chance.

IMO it is fairer, and also more fun. You have to manage your budget and you get a chance at any free agent, if you pay enough. Anyway, if I get a second I will put a poll up.

Ok, just to confirm, this is only for Free Agents. The draft will still be a regular snake draft. That's enough interest to at least poll on it, I'll rig one up in the next couple of days, or maybe nearer the draft.

Nine people have replied to the draft poll, seven yet to register their times. I'll leave it up til Monday morning, time will be set then.

Also, on League home page there is another poll about allocating Free Agents during the season. At the moment it is "pick and go to the back of the queue". I propose changing it to a Free Agent Budget system (actually called Waiver Acquisition Budget on NFL.com), where everyone gets $100 at the beginning of the season and has to secretly bid on free agents each week.

The poll is at the bottom of the league home page, scroll right down and it's on the right.

Please make sure to set your keepers. Deadline is the draft. Remember, you don't have to keep 4, but you can.

Also, please fill in poll on the league homepage. It's about allocating free agents. Current system v Free agent budget. The poll is at the bottom of the page, just scroll down and it's on the right.
