    That asking price is ambitious!

It is a tad but mark my words, it won't hang around long. He has had lads ringing him for weeks looking to see it. You won't find many (any?) 132's with the spec either.

    Which one is it?

Nice looking yoke but I'm not a fan of the flat bottom steering wheel. Seems impractical.

Was looking at that now and it might improve getting into a car a bit, no?
Maybe it doesn't make any difference at all, but why would it be impractical?

The bottom part of the steering wheel would only be used for parking really I think.

Very nice looking car, new and shiny too:D

    Enjoy it, Joe.

True, its almost exactly what I was after when I was looking.

Flat bottomed wheel means you can have the steering wheel lower down without it hitting your legs. Makes a difference to comfort and the steering angle.

    That's what I thought.

Gives you an extra inch or two.

Was surprised someone would call it impractical.

    Me too. Nonsense IMO.

It's not for parking. Customers are larger than they used to be, if you know what I mean.

Not in Ireland (as of now) I'm afraid. VW Ireland in their infinite wisdom have decided not to bring it in.

Single cylinder daysul would probably sell here. Air cooled and no turbo

I can understand it alright, even an average Golf in estate form is not a big seller in Ireland. The Irish just don't like estates much.

Yeah that seems to be the thinking. The one drawback with the hatch is the boot - it's on the small side and it's even a tad smaller than the rest of the Golf range due to the 4Motion setup.

    Makes no sense tbh.

Estate is all about a size. And we are not talking inches here:D
