Everyone's moving on to 1.4l TDIs. It was only a matter of time.

I purchased a heat gun in Aldi for pittance and it does a great job on stuff like that except for the scuff on the bumper which only driving lessons will sort..:pac:

The scuff was not bloody me. :pac:
It's a free car, I'm not gonna spend money on bloody scrape repairs. Haha

Quiet in work today so I gave Ron a wash and a Hoover. Less smelly than before, still haggard.

So MM, are you going to tell us what's next, or are we going to have to wait for you to buy and detail what ever is next?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,917 ✭✭✭✭MetzgerMeister

I don't know what's next to be honest. For the time being I'm going to try and buy cheap cars, do them up and flog them. Never got the chance to do that before due to funds/space so I'm taking advantage of it now.

X6? Have you been put through a mincing machine and reassembled arseways?!

Davy - no, it was sold to a guy from Dublin

I'm going to guess a 00 Corolla humpy/liftback, 1.9d, finished in lyons green blend green, on CN plates, with a yaris sr radio and ST200 seats.

    Bliss

Been over it many times :-) Night time day time kerry to cork, cork to kerry, MINI, pushbike (great craic working a racer round the twisty bits)

There was a serious amount of loose chippings on the road to it on the cork side earlier this year, stone chip hell.

Been up the vee recently too :-) another one I've done on pushbike and car :-)

Stunning pic YB. Cars not too bad either....:D

Went for a drive and and chuffed with how the photo turned out. Delighted with it.

Also, these last few days have been quite odd for me in my personal life. My parents moved out of the family home and into a new house. It's been a very strange few weeks, my family home of 22 years and having never moved before I found the whole thing very odd... I'm very fortunate to be surrounded by great friends who took my mind off it.

Anyway....this car has lived in this driveway for 13 years and this is the last photos I'll take of it at the house.

For myself anyway, I found it tough (as sad as that sounds!)....

All the Alfas that passed through that driveway over the years....

Wow i can imagine that must be a huge change man! It was a great driveway for pics in fairness :)

Twas a classy backdrop for the alfas.

I move more often than a tarmac/scrap/rhinohorn trader. Those ID confirmation questions over the phone are a constant challenge... where did I live when I originally signed up for this????

As much of a pain in the ass moving house is, it really is tough seeing the family home go. I was 18 when my parents sold up and moved 30 miles out the country. We lived in a great area in the city with fantastic friends and neighbors so it was hard on myself and the siblings even though they had all well moved out but it was the right choice for my parents. Like yourself 166man, it was my first time moving. 8 years later and I've moved at least 20 more times myself both here and abroad. Plan on doing so again before Xmas :)
