lol how much? Jeebus you could walk into Yongsan Electronics market at get one of those for or the equivalent of $125. Interesting markup. They're basically passé there, Shimians and Crossfits as far as the eye can see, going for nowt.

Saw a 21:9 shimian a few months back, but it was $250 for a 29" 1080p 15m/s one so I didn't bother, but it's a sign they will be coming. Certainly Shimian is willing to buy cases for the panel.

Nearly two years ago prices for a high refresh rate 1440p monitors were ridiculous,so yeah it was a bargain lol

Was certainly cheaper than flying to korea to buy one lol

Looking at getting a Dell u2515, see it's going fire about 350 on Amazon, where else should I be looking nowadays?

Anyone have a recommendation for a good Desk stand for a dual monitor 24" set up ? Desk doesn't have allot of depth to it and the monitor stands are taking up too much space.

I'm looking for a cheap arm/dual arm on a vice grip too. Can anyone recommend a brand to look into?

I just googled it. Just went through few websites. I only focused on gaming benchmarks and increase was only like 5fps vs i7 2600k

Yeah, if it's just for gaming, there's still no reason to move from a 2500K at all. Even if you had a Titan X you're looking at a couple of frames at most.

This video makes the upgrade look like it's worth it. I'd really like to see the difference at higher resolutions though.

Ergotech make great stands, but not cheap; you could go with two single monitor clamps, probably more stable than two screens hanging off a single clamp.

There are also cheaper single clamps on amazon like this one, or dual ones like this.

If you can drill/fix to the wall, you might be better off with something like this wall bracket, I've used dozens of them for monitors up to 32".

Yeah but fúck Argos price for that.

I've got a few off Amazon and all have been very good & strong so far,

    1 like this (£10.99) http://www.amazon.co.uk/VonHaus-Basics-Cantilever-Bracket-Swivel/dp/B0044YMQIW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1439480222&sr=8-2&keywords=tv+bracket+tilt+and+swivel

Cheers Guys , I was looking at this ,http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0119RCQWW?ref_=pd_ybh_6

But the Monitors I have aren't exactly the same , so one's going to have to be slightly higher / lower than the other one ,

I'm thinking getting two single desk mounts will be better , might be more hassle to set up , but ultimately it'll be more flexible.

Shít I might even get that 1 myself! Only problem, don't think 1 of my monitors is mountable :/

So, not an all time but pretty much?

Are Amazon's full RRP bull♡♡♡♡? I've always wondered.

I kind of want a 34" 21:9 eventually, wonder if Von Haus do a stand that could take that.

Out of interest, whats a decent 1440p monitor. I have the gpu and cpu to drive it. Probably wont buy until xmas sales though.
Are monitors coming down in price in the last while?

I still would love to have 21:9 1440p version some day, even if I have my pc connected to TV for almost a year now
What kind off GPU setup we talking to be able to run one of these at 60?

Rma it and when they cant offer you a new one, settle for a 390x instead

Was thinking I might get a 390/390X out of an RMA :P But it's serious hassle and I effing love this card, better than most 390s in terms of cooling/overall performance (superb VRM cooling, nice backplate, good overclocking); the 390s get better memory clocks though.

Having said that a 390X would be a step up :)

A ban would be a step down :(

Who infected Gumbi with the dumb? He's surely caught a bad dose of it judging from his last few posts :p

Seriously though, not cool. Stick it on Adverts or wherever and link it in the sale thread, if its not being given away no-strings-attached advertising on-thread in any thread is against the ToS :o

Woops, my bad, was just probing for interest :/ But the second 390X comment was regarding an RMA luckout, not buying one :) I think you removed the post anyway so hopefully it's OK now.

Solitaire will probe you if you're not careful ;)

Though it would be nice to have a marketplace on here. Tons of forums do it without issue. You could arguably know someone better before buying off them, in comparison to Adverts.

Yeah, Adverts really has gotten annoying. I've started listing my stuff on Done Deal and Gumtree as well, just because Adverts seems to be chocked full of ***** recently.

Adverts would benefit from a filter that stops people under a certain rep level from commenting/making offers, would be handy for filtering out the worst offenders.

Could be abused, but something like reddits system could work.

A sub-forum, out in the tech section maybe. Thread per sale, same as other forums. *shrug* What's the worst that happens?
