just about the america 87 octane fuel vs ours from a few posts ago, it's actually nearly the same stuff. they just use an average of the ron and mon and then get the anti knock index number. so it looks lower than ron (that we use)

they actually can get way better fuel than us. can get race fuel at the pump in some places for $4 a gallon which is like 115 octane or something. if I wasn't afraid of getting shot I'd have to go over and check it out

You are probably all sick of seeing and hearing about this car, but I just need to share - its on the road!! Today has been a ****ing fantastic day for me, and getting on the road for the first time in the 19 has been just made it. Just got back from the car wash there with it, maiden voyage and all that. Not a problem with it at all. Utterly delighted

Hah, I prefer doing it myself (at the garage) but they were full and I just wanted to get on the road for a nice drive :pac: I really am delighted with the car, thanks

There's 3 Topaz's in Castlebar (also within a mile or two radius) and I thought that was a bit much.

Topaz I've been avoiding for a while. Today FM is easily avoidable except matt cooper is good. Took a while to wean myself off the crack cocaine of irish newspapers but their deification of z list celebrities and models and the constant degrading of grammar and spelling finally cured me. I have little doubt but irish water will be gift wrapped for [redacted] when the time is right.

Likewise. I used to use the jetwash at that Texaco. I'll be avoiding that now its Topaz.

Here is the old girl getting ready for the trip home on Saturday.
Covered about 3000km in just over 12 days and she has another 2000km to go.
Giving her a well deserved wash as she was covered in utter crap and dead flies.
I think the black alloys and tint sets it off when it's clean.
Surprised that I haven't seen any other Tourers here.

Obviously didn't deserve a proper wash. Auto car washers
