tbh i have no idea what his fitness situation is, and just going from what i read here, folk seem to think he'll get game time. if he doesn't play, i'll probably just carry over the transfer and stick with Rooney.

I'd be very surprised if we didn't see him now. I haven't changed my plan going to wait until GW4 to bring him in.

5.6% of people played their Triple Captain chip this week, and 3.9% their Bench Boost

    Mental. 5.6% complete nutters.

It's an oversight by the organisers to allow those chips to be used for GW1. What's stopping guys registering quite a few teams and gambling on the triple capt.
I would imagine a fair few of that 5.6% were people chancing their arm.

WTF WHAT THE ACTUAL...! Figured a few people might misunderstand how it worked and assumed they could use them every week (not sure how you could actually think that if you thought about it for a few seconds but still!) but never though it would be that high a percentage.

Lots of people going for the big GW with their "sisters" team etc. Cheating MA'ing feckers!

    Anyone see the Arsenal game?

Any solid opinion on their midfield from the game? Selling Theo but unsure who to get. .

    Ozil,Rambo or Santi?

You know some of those players would be like a kid on Christmas morning impatient to unwrap their presents!

Someone posted a triple captained Courtois earlier if that makes you feel better!

Don't know why everyone's giving out about this gameweek being a disaster, it was my best gameweek all season! :D

Didn't notice that yikes! I have him on the bench in both games too sucks but was the right thing to do. My defence did pretty well in FPL so can't complain.

    My keeper and defence: 2, 1, 3, 1

And I spend an extra 1m on Ivan for his attacking prowess and good season starts and bloody Azpi bags the assist :P

Idiots. Seen two in my work league do it. Might be top for the week, but idiots

    35 points, 462,905 rank.

    Sterling left.

Going by what happened this weekend I expect City to loose 1-0 (Kolarov OG), Sterling getting yellow card and Aguero playing 15 minutes.

Both h2h games won so I won't complain.

I went with Azpi, Darmian, Kosc and Cedric so happy enough with that.

Guy at worked used it and captained Rooney. Didn't help him much with Courtois, Monreal and Coleman in his squad, though. 39 points total.

I don't mind them using it now at all tbh. More fun for me when the right time comes.

Triple captain chip can be a killer in h2h games, though. Don't like it, but it is there to use for everyone so be it.

the top scorer so far has a bench boost active, but keeper didn't play, so will sub in automatically! Defo think the new options are misunderstood by alot of players.

Shudda had Mahrez points, he got scrubbed at the last draft! And tinkered sat morning to bring in Walters for Cabaye!! Was full sure he'd score, was not confident that Pool would bag a victory or Arsenal would fail at that.

As someone else said, it's not a sprint...

He also had Bertrand on his bench... which is just as bad.

27 with Sterling left. Fairly poor but not too much ground lost.

Main disappointment was getting rid of Clyne after talking him up. Think he'll be one of the best value defenders this year.

36 with a sterling left to play. By the looks of things that's not too bad.

Did get rid of Zaha though! But also threw in Gestede at the last minute.

31 leaves me about 850 which is a 200k rise from yesterday, with sterling plus 2 off the bench to go, so not too bad at all.
Gomez saved the gw for me. Couldn't be happier that I subbed out Coates and Francis for Gomez and Morgan at 1am on Friday, I would be in a worse place now if I didn't.

Anyway, I'm currently resisting the temptation to make a heap of changes, I picked a team for 4 weeks and I'm sticking to it, unless bellerins injury will keep him out next week. I'm holding onto Walcott. I think he has to start next week and he was always part of my aguero plan anyway.
Sterling to go tomorrow, and hopefully everyone but him has a quiet game.

22 points, 2m+ overall rank, only Sterling left. Will probably bank the transfer, have faith in original squad. Way too much knee jerking and panicking going on altogether!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,101 ✭✭✭AidySevenfold

The guy number 1 in the world had Mahrez, Coutinho as captain and used his bench boost which consisted of Adrian (11), Cresswell (6) and Pelle (5)

    I hate some people.

Luck evens out over the coarse of a season. Based on his history it's all severely downhill from here so these anomalous scores by poor players can be disregarded in the overall scheme of things

Couldn't have said it better myself. They get one moment in the spotlight and it's all downhill for the rest of their ff lives.

Haha yeah I know that he's probably gonna take a 16 point hit or something but it's just funny how he plays it and has such a good bench haha

39 points with no players left i am happy enough to be honest.

I have Maharez and Gomez pity he was on the bench. Both look like cheap bargains.

Ditto, 22 points with 2 to come off the bench and Sterling tonight. No time to panic, just one of those weeks. Kneejerk reactions dont usually do anything in this game. I have Bellerin so might transfer him out depending on the injury.
