    Marty hasn't a clue.
Allowed the game to get out of control completely.

Will McCann's hair be fit in time for the semi?

    Ulster football is disgusting.

    Tyrone football is the worst!!

The under 21 final took the biscuit until this game.

Puke football of the highest order

He was sent off for the attack on the defender who was coming out with the ball, not ruffling the other lad's hair.

Have Tyrone won the AI ? You'd think they had by the celebrations, very much small time.

Ah i'm all for giving Marty stick for bad decisions but grown men have to take responsibility for themselves first. Shouldn't need a referee to remind you its not ok to behave like a tramp.

God, I hope Kerry do what they did to Kildare to Tyrone. I'll be there watching with a huge smile on my face.

This game reminds me of this years U21 final, Tyrone really have no shame.

Hopefully Tiernan McCann will be suspended for his antics, an absolute cheat.

The only way that they can stop the dragging out of players and that - straight black cards and you miss the next game, no one wants to see it, and less players will do it if they know they will miss games. - Giving yellow cards means nothing in games.

Darragh Ó Sé struggling to disguise his anti tyrone bias in the commentary. 'nothing in that' numerous times where monaghan player clearly fouls a tyrone player. Kerry and every other successful team employs the exact same time sort of tactics that Tyrone did here at the end in tight games to close it out.

I said Marty was useless even before the game. He loses control and gets too wrapped up in the fiddly things and allows the serious things go far too often.

'attack on the defender'? it was just a tackle
yellow card at the worst, never in a thousand years was that a red.
also the ref didnt even reach for the book until the hair ruffling incident, at which point itvwas staight red.

shameful stuff if you ask me, makes ne sick to my stomach and im not even a monaghan supporter

    Very poor commentating I thought.
He was very anti Tyrone and there were two teams at it all game.

Just some joy at winning a tight match-up in which they were slight underdogs. Just a guess though.

Tyrone were filty today. It takes two teams to make a match that dirty but it's always seems that Tyrone is one of the teams

The defender made a great catch and was then taken out as he tried to break up-field. Thought it was a red at the time.
    I'm a neutral too.

Noting said about the way the game was played in the last 10 minutes.

Hopefully the lads on the Sunday game will have their say tomorrow night.

He didn't allow it. He booked lads, sent them off, talked to them..... they were still up for a row. Thats their problem.

He's a brutal ref but a little perspective here, he wasn't the one throwing punches.

I'm no fan of his but that game would have been seriously hard to referee. Two teams with a very unsporting attitude.

Sky are a joke. Don't say anything incase you upset the GAA/FA/Rugby bigwigs. Yet their news channel is the exact opposite.

Give a game like that between two neighbouring Ulster counties to a useless referee and you can expect useless refereeing. So maybe it's not Marty's problem, it's the GAA's.

    @tayto lover
on my phone and this newfangled boards app doesnt appear to allow quoting

anyways, each to their own. personally i thought it was black at the worst, but not res. it wasnt necessarily dangerous or malicious, just quite fast paced and a big tackle. if the monaghan man was a second earlier itd be a fine tackle no doubt. IMHO nowhere close to red territory.

Looking forward to brolly & co.'s discussion of the matter anyways. Strange sky havent even mentioned it.

No it's not, everyone one of the those players knows what's right and what wrong, Do you thin the Tyrone lad who threw a slight punch on the monaghan forward thought that he was allowed do that?

No10 for Tyrone in the last few minutes, went round hanging out of players just to waste time. In the same incident the Monaghan was left on the deck - ref didn't even try to figure out what happened.

Tyrone guy hitting the deck when guy brushed his head.

Their antics are embarrassing - but they don't care. Because there no sanctions.
