I don't have personal experience but the leftys on mtbs are supposedly offering exceptional handling. Ugly as hell yes.

I wonder what would make them handle better? I can see a weight saving alright. Aren't most regular suspension forks only active on one side anyway?

That cannondale reminds me of when we were kids, and we used to make karts and trikes from bits of old bicycles taped and tied together any old way. That front end is just wrong!

If you put some shocks on the down tube and seat stays, it might be a ' so ugly its beautiful ' type of thing.

Also, the only one to pull off purple on a bike was Paul Smith with Mercian. ( Over in the beauty thread )

Some folk love the English frames. To me, this just looks like a bunch of odd shaped tubes stuck together.

the forks don't look like they were made with that bike in mind.
plus, i really don't like that design of chainwheel.

Bike to work scheme for the orange order

Are the seat stays curved / slightly bent downwards in the middle?

As bad a s it is there's some cool touches on it.

Lock threaded through the frame integrated lights at either end of the top tube.

As a city mule I'd use it but it I'd imagine it ain't light

It's even a straight top tube.

Agree, but it has given me some pause for thought. Why are there not accessories available that would give a performance enhancement even though not UCI legal - for those uninterested in racing. I suppose the disc brakes on my road bike fall exactly into this category, but i wonder would there be a real benefit to, e.g., attaching a "windscreen" like that to a bike?

On the other hand I suppose if you pursue that logic too far you end up with an e-bike.
