You're so blinded by your hatred for this company that you think that everyone with something positive to say is affiliated with the company.
Can you not see that everyone on here had a problem with the same product?? Like i said more than likely the supplier.

I ordered an e-cigarette and received it in just over a week.
Now ive grown rather tired of this thread so enjoy your paranoid trolling of this company, while i go smoke my e-cigarette.

I like so many others ordered of these people before Christmas and it is not just the one product people are having the product with.... I ordered a total of 7 different products and had problems with all orders!!! So stop bull****ting and admit you are connected to the company

Bought a product off their web site on the 19th of December ,based on a message under terms and conditions for the product ,guaranteed delivery via fastway couriors for €4.95 for Christmas if ordered pre the 22nd of December. Ordered and paid for item with PayPal ,and site confirmed order and it would be dispatched via fastway couriors , no tracking number supplied.PayPal confirmed the value €83 .

I sent a number of e-mails kindly asking them to just let me know if it Would be delayed so I could make alternate arrangements for my wife.
Not one reply, sent the email using their website , their admin address among others and still not 1 response now 17 days later!!!

i don't mind someone being late ,even If they do make guarantees ,but the principle of not replying really pisses me off and the thoughts of someone knowingly miss representing themselves and taking hard earned money.

    Great company .

Its a long road for companies like this.

Website is back up and running with a whole array of new deals

I wouldn't normally be a Joe Duffy warrior but someone seriously needs to get on a national platform to warn others about this company.

Just noticed that myself. They are continuing to ignore people via email & Facebook. One woman commented that she ordered a mop in August and still hadn't received it. Absolutely obnoxious company with no regard for their customers.

Probably hoping people will 'just leave it'..

Why would an irish site have this crap in the T&C?
    18. Arbitration.
By using this Site, End User agrees that: (1) any claim, dispute, or controversy End User may have against IWantThisDeal.ie arising out of, relating to, or connected in any way with this Agreement, shall be resolved exclusively by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) and conducted before a single arbitrator pursuant to the applicable Rules and Procedures established by AAA (“Rules and Procedures”); (2) the arbitration shall be held at a location determined by AAA pursuant to the Rules and Procedures (provided that such location is reasonably convenient for End User), or at such other location as may be mutually agreed upon by End User and IWantThisDeal.ie ; (3) the arbitrator shall apply Illinois law consistent with the Federal Arbitration Act and applicable statutes of limitations, and shall honor claims of privilege recognized at law; (4) there shall be no authority for any claims to be arbitrated on a class or representative basis; arbitration can decide only the End User’s and/or IWantThisDeal.ie ’s individual claims; and the arbitrator may not consolidate or join the claims of other persons or parties who may be similarly situated; (5) in the event that the End User is able to demonstrate that the costs of arbitration will be prohibitive as compared to the costs of litigation, IWantThisDeal.ie will pay as much of the End User’s filing and hearing fees in connection with the arbitration as the arbitrator deems necessary to prevent the arbitration from being cost-prohibitive; and (6) with the exception of subpart (4) above, if any part of this arbitration provision is deemed to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal, or otherwise conflicts with the Rules and Procedures established by AAA, then the balance of this arbitration provision shall remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with its terms as if the invalid, unenforceable, illegal or conflicting provision were not contained herein. If, however, subpart (4) is found to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal, then the entirety of this Arbitration Provision shall be null and void, and neither End User nor IWantThisDeal.ie shall be entitled to arbitrate their dispute. For more information on AAA and its Rules and Procedures, End Users may visit the AAA website.

Strange.... The company is based in county Limerick and supposedly receives some funding from the government (or so they claim on their website)

This made my blood boil even more. Ordered projector for kids on the 13th with xmas delivery. No sign of it so sent Facebook PM and was told it would be there on the 23rd. It wasn't. Started PayPal dispute and now through three separate channels, I have asked for a refund. Received a mail yesterday saying the courier was on the way and offering me credit for their website! I DON'T WANT IT!!! How many times do I have to say it. I wouldn't use this website again ever and have warned my family and friends to steer clear. They even used Xmas and problems with a supplier as an excuse despite guaranteeing xmas delivery. Exasperated and angry. Never ever again

Refuse delivery and continue with the PayPal claim.

My console finally arrived today. I wouldn't have signed for it had I known what it was but I got a few deliveries together so signed for it as part of a consignment. I wasn't expecting much and I was right- the quality of it is cheap and nasty like something you'd get in a euro shop. There are only 38 games on it. The inner screen is lopsided. I don't hold out much hope for it lasting long. Problem now is what will happen with my paypal claim....

this is meaningless. they cannot override your statutory rights with their own terms and conditions.

I have had trouble with this 'company' aswell.
ordered the hair curler for my mam for xmas on 3rd December.
no sign of it xmas week and i contacted them by message (no phone number available) and i was very polite, was told it would arrive xmas eve.
no sign of it so i contacted them again, (still very polite) i was told my curler was in the '2nd batch' of orders and i should get it by end of first week in January.
still no sign. after seeing all of this thread on boards i have contacted paypal and put in a formal complaint to try get my money back...

Has anyone received a refund from this crowd yet ever? Opened a dispute with PayPal but they are not interested as it's past the 45 days - of course I want this deal had been stringing me along with promises of delivery and then refunds to get me past this point with PayPal!
How this company is allowed to trade is beyond me - it seems anyone who buys through this site is just ripped off and scammed! I don't know what other way to get my money back now - not replying to my emails now not is there a contact number !!

If you paid by card get on to your bank and start the chargeback process.

I'm in the same boat I ordered 2 unitablets on the 15 of Dec and never received them.
Xmas this year money wise was terrible
so when I seen the iwantthisdeal offer I thought it was a God send. Sadly they have and still are stringing me along with the same email over and over again.

We apologise for the delay in processing your refund. We understand that your patience is wearing thin on this matter. We are aware you are not happy and we are going to resolve this matter.  Please bare with us as you will be refunded. Once your refund has been processed we will send you a refund confirmation email. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

    Kind regards,

I never thought I could be so hurt by a company and not getting the refund and still been strung along is just another reminder of how bad xmas was because of these guys.

^ You would have been miserable whether or not you had the tablets anyway, as they are cheap Chinese rubbish.

Johnniboy this may be of help to you.

I have just got my money back.

I was told several weeks ago that once I returned the product I would get my refund. (product arrived 2 months late!)

I returned the tablet and was told I would have the money refunded to me in 5-10 days.

From my online banking I saw that my payment to Iwantthisdeal went through paypal.
so i contacted paypal and told them about my problem and they said they would investigate.

so i went down 2 avenues
    1) trying to get iwantthisdeal to refund me directly
2)get the refund through paypal - they opened a case with iwantthisdeal

all i have been getting from i wantthis deal is that I am in a queue for a refund and should be refunded in the next 4-7 days. this has been ongoing for 3 weeks

But luckily i got an email from PAYPAL saying that they were going to refund me themselves which they have done so. so i guess paypal is likely trying to get the refund from iwantthisdeal themselves.

i havent bothered to tell iwantthisdeal i got the refund as i want to see how long it will take them to get back to me.

Anyway thankfully this is my lesson learnt and i will never have another dealing with this crowd of jokers again

I see now that they have stopped accepting PayPal as payment, probably too many claims against them and PayPal limited their account, or they just don't want the hassle.

Has anyone actually used their website? Whoever designed it must have been cheap to hire, as its pretty terrible.

Looking at this site on Consumer Show on RTE1 now, how the hell can anyone order unbranded rubbish and somehow expect it to be top notch? What were they expecting from an unbranded €69 LED Home Cinema Projector, did they expect to open a new branch of UCI in their living room? Some people should not be allowed purchase items off the internet or have access to the internet for that matter.

I am sorry to open up this thread again but I am so annoyed.

I have ordered things numerous times online but on the 9th May someone tagged me in an offer for a waist trainer. They can be very hard to find in stores and I have bought from other voucher/daily deal sites before. Plus Iwantthisdeal has over 50,000 likes on their facebook page so I thought there will be no problems.......... How wrong I was.

Last week I decided to ask them about my delivery because it was over the 21 days they said it would take to deliver and my comment was ignored. I read LOADS of other comments complaining about it (there were over 600 posts on this particular deal at the time). Someone set up a private group for people complaining about it because all negative comments were being deleted so I joined it. I requested a reply from them a few times and took screenshots of every one because they are all being deleted.:mad:

They have now blocked my from posting on their facebook page!!!!

I don't believe I am ever going to get what I paid for. This "company" is a joke. I am going to get on to my bank to try get my money back.

It's not the delay that is bothering me, it's the total LACK of communication you get when you enquire about your order but they reply to every post that asks about size etc before they purchase from these cowboys.

    they are an awful 'company'
I eventually got my refund, about 3 months after they told me I'd get it.
    their customer service is terrible.
and I couldn't find a telephone number, they just communicate by email.
I will never buy from them again..

Made the mistake of buying a waist trainer on May 20th! Of course there's no sign of it! I'm doing a charge back on my credit card and keeping all the emails I sent as proof! I wish I paid the 70 for a one in a shop! But I thought a company with that many followers couldn't be that bad. . Lesson learned!

Nope, I got one Facebook PM asking for the email address I used to order from them but when I tried to reply back to them I couldn't because they have blocked me!!!! I've given up at this stage!

I complained to the consumer rights people and they said they are aware of them and are making a case against them and my complaint will be added to the others but there isn't really anything they can do

I made the same mistake too. Ordered it on 19th of may. No sign of it. Emailed them on 18th of june. They replied that I'd have it within 6 to 8 days. Emailed on 8th of july. Got no reply. Emailed again on 11th. Got a rubbish reply about their sizing. Not the issue and asked for a refund for failure to deliver.
i replied that it was not the issue, the issue was the non delivery of goods and again asked for refund.
got a reply today saying they need to confirm size for my order so they can dispatch it to me. Total rubbish. I have replied with order details again. Will wait and see. Not hopeful. Will be adding my complaint to CPA also.

Seems a lot of people have being stung by this company.
