Or simply onebuswomanship, as in the previous caller.

Good idea. That donkey can kick very high, and the pirouette is something to behold. It did look a bit funny in the tutu though.

If the company that won the tenders price was published then it would be obvious if the job could be done for that price. That would be a great start.

Also there is a hell of a lot of work involved in submitting a tender. If the Gubbermint had to pay for tenders maybe they would appreciate the effort thats required. By all means have a pre-qualification process to allow you to tender.

depends on what type of tenders you are talking about. Big engineering , once off, type works then fair enough, as the costs to even get the tender together can be quite a lot. They should be transparent, and the price for all to see.

As for the likes of that lady, if she put in a price of €xxxxx's for a 6 month contract for a bus route, it's not fair for everyone in competition to know exactly the price she had put in, just to go €5 cheaper ?

His driver had 270 pints.........mother of God, no wonder he lost the contract!

So the new driver was better.

FFS, I'm going to say it but more entitlement BS. I've been working for my company for 17/18 years, I could be made redundant tomorrow. I'm not going to ring Loiveline and complain about it.

How could it be personality when they wouldn't have assessed the driver?

I'm not surprised someone beat him in a personality test

is he a driver or one of the passengers?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,028 ✭✭✭✭ButtersSuki

The way Philip is describing the route you'd swear it was a state secret only known to a select few. Heaven forbid a new driver (likely living in the same town/village) could figure out the way to the local school.
