      That's hardly fair to assume dean to assume the time there. He's just looking out for the safety of the fighter.

      Referee can't take the time into account. He wasn't protecting himself.

      That said, he was absolutely bullied for a lot of that fight. Glad he has the wrestler monkey off his back but it still needs work.

      I'm delighted, but something about that was dodgy I have to be honest. Maybe it was the short notice but seeing Mendes tired 30 seconds in didn't add up.

      I am delighted Conor won however all the clowning around and hair adjustments was ridiculous. It almost cost him.

      Seems very emotional i think he knows he almost lost it there. More relief then anything i'd say. Aldo vs McGregor will be massive and nobody can claim he hasn't earned his shot now.

      I thought he done well to defend against Mendes wrestling to be honest. The deciding factor here was his power. To say the deciding factor was Mendes limited camp is taking away from all the work he put in to get there.

      People questioned his ability to work under pressure, well he passed that test in my opinion.

      We should defend our way of life to an extent that any attempt on it is crushed, so that any adversary will never make such an attempt in the future.

      Whole thing smacks of a fix. First sign of any trouble for Mendez and fight stopped. The fact there was so little time left in the round adds to the suspicion. Could be wrong but it looked dodgy

      Put him against Aldo and it's a different story. Aldo's wrestling isn't chad's level. That into account McGregor wasn't training for Mendes either. Once he beats Aldo he'll move up weight, or at least he should once the IV bag is banned.
