The Aviva would be a far better stadium for it if it were to go ahead.

It's 55K and you're much closer to the action.

Sorry, I knew that but does that mean everything from the start of the event until the main card?

Just saying some in the xbox forum may have done it before so could fill you in, but if they let you pay then you must be able to watch it. Rottie, what speed is your bb? Just saying cos when I used the sky live app way back when even though I was on 16 meg, the feed was bad.

    Just something to think about.

It's 24meg but I only get about 15. It's the only way I can watch it tho

It ain't going to happen at Croker. There's a curfew of hours there, so there no way they can hold it at a time to match US Primetime slots!

there is no mention at all of U.S Primetime slots, it will be at Croker and it will be a normal Saturday Evening event

+1 i hope he wins tonight, but i also hope its tough for him, not just for the sake of entertainment, but also that he might be humbled somewhat and recognise he's not the only one breaking his balls in the gym or is in fact real 'professional'. mendes (and conor) is a beast and win or lose deserves some respect.

aside from that, if mendes loses this it will be an awfully tough loss for him in terms of title fights.

i don't think mendes will hold it together if he loses , after all its an easy fight against a 1 dimensional fighter 😭

Its mixed martial arts, to say anybody on the card tonight is one dimensional is just naive. conor and mendes are both also 17-2.

on another note mendes's wiki notes that he is of Portuguese, Italian ,Puerto Rican, IRISH, and Native American descent. =-O

you didn't see the weigh in then

mendes called mcgregor 1 dimensional and it would be easy

McGregor said Mendes was 5 foot 2, doesn't mean its true or he believes it

I tried to sleep and wake up at midnight but I was too excited. I feel like santa is coming!

I'll probably fall asleep for the main event now.

Nerves will be killing me come main event.

Nice seats, apart from the fact that there's a big camera rig right in front of the big screen...

The point was... The fighters obviously talk **** at the weigh ins.

Do you think Mendes is naive enough to think McGregor brings nothing to the table other than striking?

aye i seen the weigh in, and tbf if mendes said that it was a stupid thing to say. i tend to just blank out the trash talk at this stage cause its gone beyond entertaining now and is just bordering on pety and insulting.

like i said id like to see conor win. thats not based on who has the better come backs though, id like to see conor win and also show a bit of sportsmanship also.

I'm more of a boxing fan so forgive the ignorance but i'v heard this being called a title fight? It's an interem belt as far as i can tell, not really a proper title is it? Like McGregor isn't champion if he wins so i hope people don't start describing him as one. Not trying to play down the fight just don't like all this bull**** belts.

Anyone having a problem ordering via ufc.tv??? Says my credit card is not valid, Clicked Visa, although it is a visa debit, but I thought that doesn't matter now once it has the visa logo.

For some reason my NatWest Visa debit wouldn't work but my AIB visa debit would.
