I thought rory was going to tear the division in half a while ago, when he slammed Diaz around for three rounds. But his long jab and karate style has since looked ineffective against lawlor.

I jus think if rory was half as good as he thought he was, he'd be unreal!!

He won't be ineffective vs Lawler on Saturday.

Think he's going to pick him apart. I expect a finish or a comfortable decision.

I agree, I think Rory will be a different fighter this time (Such a cliché) and will have perfected his gameplan after reviewing their previous fight.

I met him in Vegas last October and that's what he said he weighed at the time.

He just did an interview today saying his walk around weight is 172ish

Seen that. Doesn't change what he said to us though.

Standing outside the MGM ticket office waiting to collect my tickets, and my friend texts me asking if I heard any update on the Mendes injury.

I'll admit I might have shat a little.

    Prick.

Heart says Rory, head says Robbie. Should be a great fight either way.

Jesus, Chad looks like he's about to cry at times.

    Definitely in Chad's head

Just like the phone conference, Chad needs to get the last word in while Conor sits there with a blank expression ignoring him.

Chad is such a likeable character and seems totally relaxed.

I think you are correct - he DID seem relaxed but the yoga/monkey comment showed his frustration.

That presser was hugely entertaining! Didn't think I could be any more excited for Saturday, and I'm glad I was wrong.

I was mostly talking about the main press conference but in the embedded you saw Conor do the same during the phone press conference for one of Mendes' gibes.

Point I was making was when Mendes mocks McGregor, Conor doesn't give too sh1ts, water off a duck's back.

When McGregor mocks Mendes, Mendes doesn't like it and has to have the final word to somehow show he's not rattled by what Conor said but he's just showing the opposite.

Can you imagine the state Mendes would be in after a whole world tour of that? :D

    .

I can't remember which embedded episode it was, but it was during the phone call that I felt Chad got to Conor! Not the other way around. Chad seemed relaxed and like he was having fun. When Conor got out of the car he called him a prick (or something similar) and looked visibly annoyed!

Either way, I'm really looking forward to this. Ordered BT sports for €5 for June and July. Didn't think I'd like Chad as much as I do, but if anyone was to beat Conor at 145 I think I'd like it to be him!

How are people feeling about Pendred-Howard?

I've one person telling me Pendred will win easy and another telling me he'll probably be beaten. Haven't put too much time into watching him myself.
