That is a ridiculous thing to say, outrageous even, where the fck do you get off?

I refute absolutely every last word of it.

I did not specifically accuse Wilson of anything.

Hence I used the word insinuation. Anyway I was only having the craic I know what you meant, he creeps me out too, and for the exact same reason.

honestly who cares if wilson is a goody two shoes given the recent wife and child beating scandals il take a guy being a little bit annoying to listen to every time

Do you know what? If Wilson has a hard drive full of dirty images...IF he has a hard drive full of them...you can bet your bottom dollar that Paul Allen would not sell his franchise down the river by failing to appear and testify to back his franchise QB at whatever show trial that muppet Goodell arranges.

    That's what.

Don't even engage with his bull**** man, it's all he wants.

Just comes on here spoiling for an argument.

You just know ESPN are gonna pick up on this and run with "WILSON PAEDOPHILE SCANDAL SCUPPERS CONTRACT TALKS"

"Seahawks Franchise Tag Wilson in a clear endorsement of child abuse"

To be honest Realt, I knew what you were getting at. But I just used your post to clarify my position once again. But it looks like it's now too late for that, but at least I can claim credit for uncovering Wilson....:pac:

I know I could invoke the curse of Paully here, but feck me this is an awful long offseason.

Ah will you calm yourself down for Christ's sake. The only thing OTT is your reaction.

I read the post and as someone who works in the legal profession, there is nothing litigious about it whatsoever.

It is abundantly clear in that post, that the poster is talking in the plural - about certain types of persons and not in the singular/ or one specific individual.

I work in the legal profession too.

But tbh all that is needed to see that you are arguing against a point that was never made is common sense. Something can be objectionable and yet, crazy as this seems, not litigious. The poster you responded to never suggested it was litigious. Are they not teaching "picking up the right end of the stick" in Blackhall Place these days?

Can we get back to football? :)

Here is a photo essay of the work of the under appreciated equipment guys. How they prepare for home games, road trips, outfitting a new signing and the work they do on game day. Even the coaches get outfitted in official Nike gear

Random little facts like the Ravens have so much equipment they hire in local off duty firemen to help move it all

It certainly seems that way lately. Soon, we'll probably have to start isssuing legal disclaimers after every post.

I'm sure you'll get plenty of football related suggestions, but seeing as it's the offseason, I'm going to go off topic and recommend you download the This American Life app which has hundreds of archived episodes on it.

It's a really amazing show that covers a different topic every week. Some incredible episodes. It's not football related at all, but I looked forward to my runs* so much more once I started listening to it.

If you're looking for an episode to judge it, I'd recommend The Incredible Case of the PI Soccer Moms. It's about this guy who sets up a Private Investigation firm and who only hires suburban moms to be his investigators, using the logic that no one would suspect they were being followed by a mom in a minivan. A reporter tags along on a case, and things quickly start spiraling out of control.

Some episodes are hilarious, some are thrilling, some are really interesting, others are downright heartbreaking. Without doubt my favourite radio show/podcast out there.

    *running and jogging, not diarrhea

Off topic I know, but I had to bump this to say I listened to this recommended podcast on my last run and it was absolutely superb. It has never happened before, but after coming to the end of my usual route I actually decided to keep going for another couple of miles just so I could listen to it all in one go.

Any other good ones on the This American Life app that you'd recommend JaMarcus?

Three that spring to mind would be:

    Right to remain silent
    Dr Gilmer and Mr Hyde
    DIY

They're three excellent episodes. It's such a good show!

Reading an article about the older running backs on the market. With all the potential for injuries in the league (I'm thinking McFadden in Dallas for example) likely some will be signed

    Pierre Thomas
    Chris Johnson
    Shone Green
    Ray Rice
    Knoshawne Moreno
    Steven Jackson
    Leon Washington

If you were GM and you wanted and needed a veteran running back and I let you pick just one who will you take?

    Sorry for horrible spelling :p

    1) Rice
    2) Moreno
    3) Jackson

If it was based just on on-the-field, Ray Rice all day long. However, you'd want to be a brave GM to touch him.

Ruling Rice out, it'd have to be Moreno or Jackson for me. Ideally, Moreno would be the choice. Not a veteran I know, but if you're unsure about your RB group he has the potential to come in and possibly be your starter. He racked up over 1,000 yards and 10 TD's in his last season with the Broncos and had started quite well with Miami last year averaging almost 5 yards per carry before doing his knee. Unfortunately, his knee is goosed and he isn't expected to play at all this season because of it.

    Jackson it is.

ah i think it has to be thomas all day.... he gives you a great passing option at rb - he will def get picked up

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,967 ✭✭✭Morrison J

    1. Rice
    2. Thomas
    3. Moreno

That's if we're talking talent. Steven Jackson is done imo.

Ray Rice is done, doesn't have any of the explosion he used to have.

    I'd go with:
    1. Knoshawne Moreno
    2. Pierre Thomas
    3. No one....the rest are equally terrible....

Ah yes, good old ridiculous assumptions. An unforgivable cardinal sin of the profession.

I don't think we know that tbh. He played with a really bad hip in 2013 which limited him big time. He looked great when he played in preseason 2014 (I know its only preseason but you can tell if a guy looks sharp) and reports from training camp were that he was back to his old self.

Himself and Pierre Thomas are comfortably the two best talents from that list imo.

Pierre Thomas would be the one for me. The rest of them all have question marks around injuries/off field or are shown as washed up.

The Bills just signed Wayne Hunter!

I know he will most likely only be a camp body, but he hasn't played in 2 years, and when he did play he was brutal.

Good ol Rex looking after his favourites

    FYP:p

But this is definitely Rex's biggest problem, he is loyal to fault
