Got the second cut covered yesterday morning. Some difference in yield between first and second cut. On a load count alone more than 10% more on second cut but off 15% less ground. Scraping the bottom of the barrel for tyres by the end. A few old tractor tyres pressed into service for the middle of the pit. No wholecrop this year. Might be a third cut in bales.

We ran out of tyres this year aswell . Rang a lad about 10 mile away and he said I have loads of lowloader tyres at the house , come back now while I'm here and collect them .
So i put on the cattle trailer and went back , four fecking tyres was all he had , talk about a waste of time !

Stem coming through in 2nd cut. 1st cut was mid-May followed immediately by 1000gl slurry. 1.5 bags of Urea didn't go out until June 10th. Should I have gotten it out sooner? (It's reseeded ground).

Knocking second cut in next few days. Have a few bales to come from out farm, tear into it then. Looks heavier than first cut

Just getting used to good grass growth GG. The killer of being late out with the N is that it's not used up for another fortnight!

If I get the weather I may go a few days early and give it a good wilt.

If you look at most wars they're actually about land and commodities with the religious leaders emerging and stirring creating the belief that a religious war is being fought
