When they say "not stolen", are they checking this on the reg or VIN?

I wonder are these all stolen outside the country and plates from similar written off vehicles put on them or something?

    Bizarre scam.

They may not be stolen but the seller is not the registered owner. Most of this stuff is either cars that garages have sold off cheap as they are not viable to repair or they are cars people have sold on the assumption they are to be scrapped but they arn't...there's lads buying up these cars and they either getting fake NCT discs which are genuines certs they have printed on or they are doing mickey mouse photocopies then selling them to idiots on Donedeal who are confusing buying a car with buying a washing machine.

    From Father Ted:

They were a bit obsessed with the old... S-E-X. God I'm glad I never think of that type of thing Father. That whole sexual world. God, when you think of it it's a dirty, filthy thing, isn't it Father? Can you imagine Father? Can you imagine Father, looking up at your husband, and him standing over you with his lad in his hand, wanting you to degrade yourself? God almighty can you imagine that Father? Can you picture it there Father? Oh get a good mental picture of it. Can you see him there? Ready to do the business?

I think this guy is buying "cash for cars" with no NCT and giving bogus addresses to the genuine seller of the car.

Then he advertises the same car with NCT etc......for an inflated price.

Then when the potential buyer looks for logbook, nct....its the "can I check your money scam"

Im sure I've seen couple of his cars for sale and also mentioned un the motoring forum and all the pics of the cars are hiding their reg plates.

This is one topic I'll defend being brought up again and again, untill the RCC fully condemns and apoligises for this, public should be reminded and reminded what this organisation represents.

The parents and teachers of these kids have a lot to answer for too, clearly they knew something dodgy was going on and they let it continue.

So, for the price of a knackered old Polo, Neary-New Motors gets a prime-time advert.
    Bargain.

I'd bet they got it as a trade-in and it's worth nothing to them, only would have been going up the road anyway.
That's not to say there's anything wrong with the car, but it's easy to make it seem much more of a give-away if it's roadworthy and clean.
Fair play to them anyway, for all said and done it was a pretty decent thing to do.

No, the case is not closed. The people who moved him around, who covered up for him, have never been forced to confront their deeds, including Seán Brady. Most are probably dead now, but that is no reason not to confront these issues.

How so? Did they find an RSJ? Mind you, he probably thinks it stands for Rolling Spending Joe.

Won't be able to listen today again. I was going to add "unfortunately" onto that but then again it's D"Omen and I'm not really into "farm talk".
