Can anyone recommend some good podcasts to help get me through my daily run please lads? I've been enjoying the Ross Tucker podcast lately and some of the SB Nation ones are/were quite good especially during draft time, any others? :)

I'm sure you'll get plenty of football related suggestions, but seeing as it's the offseason, I'm going to go off topic and recommend you download the This American Life app which has hundreds of archived episodes on it.

It's a really amazing show that covers a different topic every week. Some incredible episodes. It's not football related at all, but I looked forward to my runs* so much more once I started listening to it.

If you're looking for an episode to judge it, I'd recommend The Incredible Case of the PI Soccer Moms. It's about this guy who sets up a Private Investigation firm and who only hires suburban moms to be his investigators, using the logic that no one would suspect they were being followed by a mom in a minivan. A reporter tags along on a case, and things quickly start spiraling out of control.

Some episodes are hilarious, some are thrilling, some are really interesting, others are downright heartbreaking. Without doubt my favourite radio show/podcast out there.

NFL podcast, I'd recommend the "Around the NFL podcast". Good dynamic in the group of writers from NFL.com
Used to listen to the dave dameshek one, but he started to get on my nerves after a while.

Non NFL, I'd recommend The Moth. People onstage telling true stories about events in their lives. Fascinating stuff :-)

Getting close to buying Game Pass time, which is when it all kicks off again for me.

Around the NFL and Dave Dameshek podcasts are must listens every week for me. Good mix of humour and NFL chat.

Worth subscribing to Grantland Sports podcasts. Good amount of different ones covering all the big sports. All a good listen. NBA ones are prob their best though.

Move the Sticks with Daniel Jeremiah is decent. Bit better around draft time though.

The Coaches show when it gets going after the offseason is very good. Brian Billick and Steve Mariucci go into decent analysis. Less humour more in depth football chat really.

Draft Countdown and Mocking the Draft are good come the college season for prospect talk.

No surprise to see that a glorified running back can't throw a lighter, less aerodynamic ball.:pac:

Around the NFL the best podcast by a distance I think. They are insightful but very easy to listen to due to their humour, esp the host Dan Hanzus. I would highly recommend this show if you're only looking for something a couple of hours a week.

The Dave D Football Programme is also a very good one, the Coaches Show and Move the Sticks more nitty gritty stuff but decent if you really want to get a background into the off the field stuff like scouting or coaching.

i go along with the Around the NFL podcast - love those guys - good insight - call it like it is - say if a story is only a news story cos it was a slow news day... even on their own articles which i like! Sometimes with dirtsheets and team reports you can get sucked in and ATN kinda cleans up a lot of that

Dont like Dave D Show cos he is just too much IMHO - he kinda goes on random tangents and sometimes your just like- WHAT??

I like Around the Huddle - Neil Reynolds and Jeff Reinbold off Sky Sports - its only once a week but i enjoy it - good insight from both

46 days to be precise. 79 days until the big kickoff.

We're getting there, slowly but surely!

Pre season is worse than the off season to be honest. I'm in no way getting excited for preseason.

As a Giant fan, I just both fear and expect more injuries, tbh.

If there was a Championship for injuries we'd be winners every year. Only last year did Coughlin introduce warm downs as part of the conditioning of the players. Pretty amazing that there is still a few dinosaurs out there.

Have you had a look at the Eagles roster this year

Thanks for the podcast suggestions lads, very much appreciated. I'll give all those suggested a listen over the next few days.

One I came across today that I hadn't listened to before but found enjoyable - Audibles podcast with the guys from Sports Illustrated (Doug Farrar etc).

Terelle Pryor claimed on waivers by the Browns and they are going to coach him as a receiver.

    6' 5"
    240lbs
    4.38 40 time

Ross Tucker said on his podcast that Pryor was the most gifted high school player he ever saw. Also said he made catches in college.

Could work and the Browns will look geniuses. If it fails no harm and he can be cut during training camp

If this is true he is a lot smarter than people give him crehttp://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25222010/rob-gronkowski-i-havent-spent-one-dime-of-my-nfl-earnings?ttag=nfldailyheadline406232015&ET_CID=702&ET_RID=39569221dit for

Why's he taking out an insurance policy then. Not quite enough faith in God, eh?

    Hope "God" picks the Browns

As they said in the article, the seahawks franchise tag will trump God's wishes anyway so unless God wants him to remain a seahawk I guess God wont have much say in the matter.

Wilson is especially active on the God thanking side of things. He'll throw it in a lot during the season on Instagram and twitter posts.

Nobody player active or retired will top Ray Lewis for bringing religion to every single interview.

And John Harbaugh from the 32 head coaches though he's not as obvious as players

Who had that beautiful rant about how much they hated Wilson on here before?

Demario Davis could definitely give him a run for his money, must be a linebacker thing!
Last offseason he said god told him that it would be a "special" season for the Jets. The Jets went 4-12:( special my arse!!

Agreed, this was the pinnacle of it all.

Whereas Michael Bennett had the right idea....

Start time thing doesn't seem to work so skip to 57 seconds for the love.
