Once the ground was dry under the rows it won't be too bad I'm sure

An improvement promised for early next week so things should kick off around here. The mower is ready and waiting for a start, same as myself at this stage!

Good man greasegunner! That's a confident start for a newbie.

Interesting night last night. Got most of the bales stacked in the feild. I was driving neighbours zetor 8011 with no lights. Decided to play it safe and ride in the other tractor with dad instead of chancing the 1/2 mile in the dark with no lights.

Whacked my knee off the door latch and the pain was unreal. Managed to climb onto passenger seat but was nauseous with the pain as we drove down the lane.
Next thing I know I'm on the road with dad calling my name.

I had fainted and fallen out the door and landed on my head!😧

Good job dad slowed down for a pothole or he would have crossed me he says.

Holed up in navan hospital since midnight

The irony is I thought I was taking the safe option!

Hope it's nothing more than bumps and bruises, hope your father is alright too, the fright can be worse than any physical injuries.

Ah yeah. If you think about it it was 6 or7 feet from where my head was to where it landed. I was out for the count for 3 or 4 minutes

Pouring rain on and off here today, need to get silage cut as grass is beginning to get strong. Sabosed to clear up from this evening on with the odd chance of a shower tomorrow, how long does it take the sugar levels in grass to rise before cut in this weather.
