Dedicated to those character actors who are rarely in leading roles,whose name you might have trouble recalling but straight away recognise their face.
Vincent Schiaveli,best known as the subway ghost in Ghost.Was also in Amadeus and can be seen as one of the inmates in One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest.

Hes become well known in recent times for Hellboy and Sons Of Anarchy but for years Ron Pearlman was that guy with the weird face in The Name Of The Rose and Quest For Fire.

A homegrown version would be David Pearse.Instantly recognisable face from bit parts in stuff down the years,only know his name from that RTE drama series about pub quizzes.

Two actors that I always recognise immediately but had no idea of their names are:

Zeljko Ivanek

24, Heroes, Lost, The West Wing, Hannibal, Seven Psychopaths, Argo.

and James Rebhorn, who sadly passed away last year.
